While Flying Gnome is still on offer as the January Stamp of the Month, I thought I would revisit him using coloured pencils.
It’s just such a fun image. I love the movement and the quirkiness. I also love colouring gnome beards – you can see me colouring this one in the video below, but I also have a video demonstrating a few different approaches to colouring beards or fur using coloured pencil HERE. If Copic markers are your thing, I have a similar video using those HERE.
Time for a round up of all of the inspiration I could find for January’s STAMP OF THE MONTH! The amazing Flying Gnome is still on offer with a fantastic 50% discount until the end of January. Whether you already have him, or have just added him to your basket, here’s a heap of inspiration from the Babes!
It’s Tuesday, so here I am shining a big spotlight on some older but still absolutely fantastic stamps. They might be sitting somewhere in your collection, waiting to be dusted off again, or they might be totally new to you. Either way, let’s take a look at what the Babes have done with them in the past, and get inspired!
Tamara here with you with a Valentine’s Day card! YES! It’s that time of the year already. I usually make a few Valentine’s Day cards a year but I often add sentiments that can be used for other occasions too. Image used today is called Closeups “IN LOVE” and it comes with an awesome sentiment which I added inside the card (but forgot to take a picture, duh ..).Image was stamped using Distress Ink pads on 300g HP wtarecolour paper and then coloured up with Distress Ink pads and fussy cut.
