Tamara here with you. For this Sunday’s post I made a mini album. This mini album first started as a small notebook. I made the cover and the notebook part and then I wasn’t too sure if I liked it, so I tore it apart and added the album pages. I added an envelope, because there are always some spare pictures that don’t go with the others in the album or they should be kept a bit private. lol
For decoration I used some of my Maja papers from my stash and added some flowers and brads.
In the middle of the project I started creating this album for my daughter. She has quite a few polaroid pictures and this mini album is just the perfect size for them. First I wanted to add a unicorn to the front but then (again) changed my mind and added Oddball Marilyn Loveeeee her!!!
Image was coloured up using Distress Ink pads on 300g HP watercolour paper and then fussy cut.
Distress Ink pads used for colouring:
skin: vintage photo
hair: antique linen, walnut stain
outfit: victorian velvet, pumice stone, black soot
I added lots of glitter to her outfit and her diamonds. Sentiment that comes with the image is added inside.
How have you all been? I have been running around like crazy trying to situate the children (who aren’t really children anymore).. I know there are many of you who have been with me since the beginning when they were kidlets… now they are adultlets. Sigh. My best friend’s son went away to University around 1.5 hours away.. she is lonely without him so what do you think she suggests? That tyler go visit him!. That means he is driving 1.5 hours.. that means it’s HOMECOMING.. that means its KIDS ON TOP OF KIDS WITH A MILLION DISEASES (not really but Covid makes me insane)…. it’s the first time I am letting him drive this distance and it’s pretty much the first time we have been apart …. he’s 19. and I can’t deal. LOL. Im a weeping mama and I can’t wait for him to get there, be safe there and come back in one piece. Am I CRAZY? because I feel that I am.
ok enough of my WEEPING.. let’s get inspired today shall we? Our baberoonis worked with some of our newest images this week. Grab a cuppa and enjoy
