Weekend Inspiration with Delphineabella: Bundle Girl Beekeeper Scene

Hello everyone! Delphineabella here with my Inspiration Post and – I hope – a beeeeautiful scene! I created my scene using 3 stamp sets. First I stamped BUNDLE GIRL BEEKEEPER (girl, 2 bees), then I added a little separate bee at the top left corner from the TINY TOWNIE BUSY BEE set, and since I wanted flowers at the bottom of my scene, I stamped a part from the TINY TOWNIE CHERRY BLOSSOM flowers. I coloured everything in Copics and added a sentiment from the BUNDLE GIRL BEEKEEPER set. As a final touch, glitter pen and Star Dust Stickles on the wings, of course!

Weekend Inspiration with Delphineabella: Oddball Gnome in the Floral Forest!

Hello everyone! Delphineabella here – completely in spring mode! I seem to be a bit obsessed with spring and flowers at the moment, hence the need to use this backdrop I love again, FLORAL FOREST BACKDROP. For my flowers I thought I would use a cute little gnome for a change, from the ODDBALL GNOME PARENTS set and I added a beautiful sentiment from the GARDEN GIRL FLOWER SENTIMENTS set. I told you, flowers!

I die cut my background to keep only a portion of the FLORAL FOREST BACKDROP stamp – it’s really big and that’s what I love about it, there are so many ways you can cut it and use it. I coloured it in Copics, coloured my girl gnome in Copics, did some fussy cutting and put her on foam for a bit of dimension.

Copics used:

Weekend Inspiration with Delphineabella: Mini Oddball Bee Kid & Butterfly Girl Flower Scene

Hello everyone! Delphineabella here to share a spring scene this weekend featuring a couple of stamps from our latest release… and more!

The two characters I used are the oh so adorable MINI ODDBALL BEE KID and MINI ODDBALL BUTTERFLY GIRL. I wanted flowers for them, so decided to use the FLORAL FOREST BACKDROP.

To create my scene and have both characters on the flowers, I started by stamping the backdrop on a piece of draft paper, positioning the stamp in the corner of my stamp press to put it back there easily afterwards. I then stamped the characters using my stamp press on my piece of draft to make sure they were in the position I wanted. Then I took my Copic paper, stamped my characters on it, masked them and stamped the background on top.

I coloured everything in Copics and added a sentiment from our new HELLO SPRING SENTIMENT set.

Weekend Inspiration with Delphine: Oddball Farm Animals & Barn

Weekend inspiration with Delphine…on a Monday…because Elaineabella was away at the weekend, and has been too busy with the new release to create something for Marker Geek Monday this week!

Hello everyone! Delphineabella here with my Weekend Inspiration Post which is about animals, with a little Oddball scene at the countryside!

I combined two stamp sets, ODDBALL FARM ANIMALS and ODDBALL BARN, HAY AND FENCE. These animals just crack me up!! Oh, the look on their faces!!

I stamped my elements and decided to cut the pig and the barn for a more natural look for my scene and to have the focus on the cow facing us. I then die cut the scene and coloured everything in Copics. Finally, I added die cut letters as a sentiment.

Copics used:

Sky: B00, 01Grass: YG01, 25, 67Ground: E37, YR23, 24, 27, 31Pig: BV00, R21, 81, 83, RV34Cow: BV00, R81, 83, RV34, W1, 3, 5, 7, 9Bell: Y13, 35,YR24 Eyes: BV00, E55Barn: C2, 4, R35, 56, 59, W9

Weekend Inspiration with Delphineabella: Mini Oddball Pirate & Pug

Hello everyone! It’s Delphineabella here, taking you to the beach today! I decided to use MINI ODDBALL PIRATE AND PUG and pictured them on an island with palm trees, and it hit me that the CAVE BACKDROP could be perfect with them.

I kept the right of the cave only – elements always look great when cut, instead of full images for a scene – and added my characters next to it. I coloured everything in Copics, die cut my scene and added a bit of black Posca and glitter pen around the edges of my card. And I picked a word from the ODDBALL CHERRY BLOSSOM set, and added a full stop after it 😉

COPICs used:

Weekend Inspiration with Delphine: Tiny Townie Mad Hatter

Hello everyone! Delphineabella here with my Weekend Inspiration post! Being an Alice in Wonderland lover, I’m sharing inspiration today with a stamp from our latest release – TINY TOWNIE WONDERLAND MAD HATTER! To me, he is obviously offering us a cup of tea or coffee, hence my card today 🙂 I decided to make it monochrome with the colour of coffee in mind.

I coloured my Mad Hatter in Copics and created a simple background for him, suggesting a wall and floor in Copics. Then I played with texture stamps, stencils and Vintage Photo Distress Ink to add interest to my background. I then added brown Posca around the edges of my card, a bit of glitter pen, and 2 die cut words that I coloured in Copics.

Copics used:

Skin: E000, 00, 11, 71Hair: E09, 18, YR18Hat: E71, 74, 77, 79Gold: E35, Y11, 35, YR23Trousers: E31, 33, 35Sleeves and inside of coat: E49, 55, 57Wall: E41Floor: E40, 43Die cut words: E49

Weekend Inspiration with Delphineabella: Tiny Townie Wonderland Alice

Hello everyone! Delphineabella here with my Weekend Inspiration Post, featuring the adorable TINY TOWNIE WONDERLAND ALICE! She can be used for lots of types of cards, not just Wonderland cards and you can colour any colour you want. Since I have not used my purple markers for a while, I thought I would make use of them for her. I coloured her all in Copics then added a bit of texture with a stencil and Distress Oxide, put her a piece of DP and stamped a sentiment from the ODDBALL COCO set.

Copics used:Skin: E000, 00, 11, 71, RV42Hair: 110, BV04, C7Purple: V09, 12, 15, 17White: B000, BV000, 00

Weekend Inspiration with Delphine: Frog Trio & Bleeding Heart Sprig Scene

Hello everyone! Delphineabella here with my Weekend Inspiration post – all about love today!

I decided to use one of the adorable frogs from our latest release, from the FROG TRIO set. Perfect for the love theme, I added the BLEEDING HEART SPRIG and built a scene around these two stamps. I coloured everything in Copics and added the “Kiss me!” sentiment from the FROGGY SENTIMENT set.

Weekend Inspiration with Delphine: Oddball Marilyn

Hello everyone! Delphineabella here for my last Weekend Inspiration post for 2023, but I’m already preparing for 2024 with something a bit different today. When I realised I was posting on December 31st, I knew I wanted to use ODDBALL MARILYN – I find her perfect for festivities and special occasions.

Today, I’m using her as the first page of one of my journals – it’s a planner page, but I don’t use planners as planners, just simple journals for me, since planning is not really my thing 😉

I stamped Marilyn in Memento ink on watercolour paper to be able to play with different media and I coloured her in Copics first. The alcohol marker colouring is not as precise on watercolour paper, and you must be careful with the black lines of your image, but it works well otherwise. I then coloured my background using watercolour pens and added touches of colour on Marilyn‘s scarf too. I then used pencils and Posca pens for a bit more definition and contrast on my character.

To decorate my page, I added details with texture stamps, die cut numbers in glitter cardstock and added a lot of glitter touches with stickles and glitter pens – in the end, it’s a very girly page!

Thank you for stopping by today, and I wish you a wonderful New Year’s Eve, with a beautiful beginning of year! See you in 2024! Hugs,

Delphineabella

Weekend Inspiration with Delphine: Uptown Girl Snow White

Hello everyone! Delphineabella with my Weekend Inspiration post and today is about princesses – the little girls we can make a card for, or just the little girls in us 😉

I used UPTOWN GIRL SNOW WHITE from our latest release and coloured her in Copics then did some fussy cutting. For a princess card, I had to use a bit of glittery paper in which I die cut some hearts. I added a piece of heart washi tape – you never can have too many hearts, right 😉 And I chose a sentiment from the PRINCESS SENTIMENT set.

Copics used:

Skin: E000, 00, 11, 71, RV42

Hair: 110, C5, 7

Blue: B21, 24, 26, 34, 37, 39
