and boy did I have an exciting week! LOL
I went to the hairdresser..LOL.. this is a very big deal in my life.. I am SO TYPE A. can’t sit still so I refuse to go.. until I get ALL grey and can’t take it anymore.. and off I go! So my little Jayden told me that it was her “LIFELONG DREAM” (LOL) to see my hair straight.. so I decided to put my TYPE A on the backburner and go ahead and get it straightened.. not only that, but I got a HUGE blonde streak in the front.. I needed a change can you tell?
So here’s my hair straight with the CHUNKY streak 🙂
when Jayden saw me, she started to cry. And then she loved it.. and then she said it wasn’t me.. and she wasn’t happy with it.
So I washed it today.. and it’s back to curly.. I have to admit as much as I complain about my curls.. It’s what I am most comfortable with
Another big event this week was Jayden finally got her cast off.. it’s been two months of weekly appointments at the hospital.. it’s been difficult. And they take the cast off and lo and behold.. INFECTION… so now we are trying to treat that 🙁
here she is.. most of the time with a smile on her face .. here she was very afraid 🙁

Sorry about the infection and hope it heals soon. My grandson broke his arm 3 weeks ago – long way to go for this active fear-nothing little guy.
I like your hair both ways too but I like curly better. When a former co-worker was about 12 she wanted a perm so her mother took her to the hairdresser and she got her curly perm. When she walked thru the door her 4 year old sister screamed. She hated it with a vengence – and it didn’t wash out! Kids are funny.

Your hair looks great. I wish I had enough nerve to do something different with my hair. I have never dyed it and sometimes think it would be interesting to try. I did staighten my hair once but my husband didn’t like it. So I understand the reaction of your family.

Both hair styles look great!! I am the same way with my curls. I don’t own a flat iron or curling iron…I am a bit style challenged. LOL. Long live curly hair!

i like your hair both ways. a long time ago i had my very long hair cut short and my son didn’t like it at all; he wanted me to go back and get them to glue my hair back on – he got used to it though, eventually. 🙂
Love your hair both ways – so lucky to have two looks!! I am letting my hair grow out and not liking it so I think I will be back to my pixie look real soon. Except it is going to be winter real soon and I can always just pop on a hat except in work that would look weird. 🙂 Hugs

Em it seems like forever since I’ve seen you in person! I must say that when I saw the first picture with your straight hair I was like wow! I love it! I kept reading and saw your curls – that’s the Em I’ve known and love! Either way you’re looking great! And the streak is so you! Sorry to hear poor Jaden’s thrill at having the cast off was scampered by the infection. I hope that clear that up and she’s back to herself again soon. She’s purrrty with that smile!

Oh Emily what a shocker to see you with straight hair, I honestly didn’t recognize you at first…you look fab, love it, but I have to say your curls are “you”. Does that make sense? ???? Happy to hear Jayden’s cast is finally off but ????to the infection. I am spending time in my stamp room tomorrow. Life is setting down a bit and I need to get stamping again – I miss it!!
Think if I had curly hair I would keep it, I just adore curls. Poor wee Jayden, I hope that infection clears up super quick. The girls have scored big this week, the cards are just amazing.
