bellarific friday

Happy Bellarific day TOOO YOUUUUUUUUU

Hiya sistaroonis!

Hope your week was great!  Well I have yet ANOTHAH obssession.. hmph.  First, I would like to wish all da CHANUKAH celebratin’ sistahs a wonderful, fun, family oriented, latkah eating Chanukah 🙂  I decided this year that I would like my gift to be the beginning of a new collection :).  I know you are ASTOUNDED that I like to collect but honest I do.. I collect anything that doesn’t move..LOL.  So I decided that this collection would be a type of Heirloom for Jayden :).  It is LE CREUSET the enamel coated cast iron pots, pans and roasters.. I just love the quality, the colours, the heaviness.. it is “MAGNIFIQUE”.. said in French cuz that is where LE CREUSET originates. HMPH.   Why am I in love with a pot? AND STAMPS? and embroidery? and makeup ? and LEATHER GOODS and and and…. (next week I will let you in on yet ANOTHER obssession I have had for years and don’t think I have shared with you as of yet).  What do you collect?  What makes YOU happy? (aside from world peace of course and a world, COVERED, in BELLA RUBBAH 😉 )

Here is my first piece.. hope you love it as much as I do :).. Yes I KNOW it is a pot.. I am entitled to LOVE a pot ya know…

OMG, there is a yellow one!!! Love it….Char has about 6 of them….beeautch! But I think I love this one best. There is a new purple too, have you seen it???

  2. Robb_eeie says:

Hey Em, totally love Jayden`s pot, especially the yummy-mustard-squash colour 🙂 That colour makes me *Happy*! One of my collections started when I was about 4 yrs. old, via my Nanny (Grandmother), the Red Rose Tea Figurines. I have over 500 of them, some collectable & valuable, others not so much. But each and every one of them hold a memory for me which is more valuable then any money in the world.
The submissions this week are great–caused me to add a few more images to my shopping list, that for some reason I seemed to miss out on. 😉

  3. jen shears says:

You so make me giggle, Em!!! 😀 I have a bit of an obsession with collecting too- particularly crafty things!!
lots of beautiful cards… great work all!!!

  4. Tanya Atkisson says:

I love those new Lulu stamps! And the “boots” card is so cute, love the deep colors! Next weeks challenge sounds fun, hope I get to play!

  5. Diana Ly says:

I collect many things…. Go google momiji dolls… Its the cutest thing ever!!!!

  6. shelley says:

yes, I have a few of those gorgeous heavy duty, last a lifetime pots as well. They are perfect rice cookers! …But something I’ve collected for years is vintage Fiesta or Fiestaware as it is also known. (goes swell with the LeCrueset.
I have Fiesta it everywhere, coordinating colors of plates hanging in wall plate rack, vases decorating high shelves… it is even packed in the attic because I have excess. I also use it every day. Always have, always will. Why have something beautiful like that and not use it. Even the dogs and cat eat from vintage Fiesta bowls. The beautiful yellow pot in your photo….. I have the same in chartreuse and just used it Thursday to cook Taco Soup! YAY! I have no kids so no one to whom to leave this awesome collection of Fiesta… I hope it doesn’t end up in a yard sale someday (even tho that is where I’ve purchased many Fiesta peices over the years!)

  7. Regan says:

    shut uuuupabella….I won..suh-weet

great eye candy and I am in love with that pot!!

  8. Michele says:

Thanks for posting our cards and for letting us participate in the challenges. My Grandma just bought us some prisma colors! YEAH!!!
    McKenna (10) and Lauren (6)

  9. Margo S. says:

I love all of the snowy creations – especially the ones from the mini bellas!!!

The only thing I collect is stamps, and other card making supplies! Oh, but I do have a fair number of hats – could almost be called a collection!!!

  10. Jayne says:

Does my eraser collection from when I was 7 count?!! Beautiful eye candy this week ladies….I will get to play again one day….promise!

  11. m. says:

cannot decide on a favorite. Love them all.

  12. Christine says:

I’m so sorry I didn’t get to play this week. The cards are fab. Really loved the tag.

  13. Libby says:

I love collecting stamps and every thing cupcake!! Great cards everybody!

  14. Karen says:

    Gorgeous project, ladies! Love them!
I collect (other than rubber stamps) things I love, mostly handmade art/artisan things. I have a mirror that tall and oval, with a frame that is hand carved cattails. I have plaster art (Rosemary Scragg – gorgeous medieval and Celtic inspirations) and paintings. And pottery. Other than that, I try not to accumulate too much (that can’t be used for stamping that is).
I have a Le Creuset Dutch oven like that one, but mine is cobalt blue and I love it! It is the best pot ever. Best, best, best. I feel good every time I use it.

  15. Michelle Galloway says:

Loving your new obsession! Let me know how the cooking goes too! My Obsession….other then scrapping, I say is Make UP!
YippEEE for me too! the winner this week for leaving a comment….it sure pay’s off to stock the blog! lol:)

  16. LoriT. says:

Great cards!! Love the pot! I think those were on Oprah’s Christmas giveaway show! 🙂

  17. paula says:

well, I love the snowy creations and I am LOVIN’ that purty yella pot you got there. Mine will need to be in orange! Decisions….decisions….. hehe… Now, I will need to make some stunning recipe cards like that Dol girl! {hey Christine!!} What a fun gallery!!

  18. Olga says:

I love-love-love all the cards! I hope I’ll be able to play next week!
Emily, your new obsession is WONDERFUL!!! And I can totally relate to it!!! Have one in green. And another one in green. And a frying pan in orange! And then I had to stop myself because I have NO SPACE!!! for any more pots… AS for my obsession (other than pretty stamps and papers, that is), that would be shoes, I think. Don’t know how many pairs I have… My heart bleeds for years after saying “bye-bye” to a worn-out pair of shoes…

  19. Carol W says:

I have the same pot and also a set of pans, they are fab, but oh so heavy. I love to collect, show me a woman who doesn’t. I collect Swarovski crystal animals (only the babies tho!).

Fab cards again this week ladies.

  20. Maria says:

First and foremost….i love kitchenware!!! Although I haven’t tried Le Creuset yet, I did manage to go to the Williams Ashley china/crystal warehouse sale for the first time!! So, sistas if you like kitchenware, house decor, decorations – you gotta go….I am tempeted to go back….one more time….shopping is our favorite thing to do ya know…bring your sistas…its more fun that way! Ok now back to cards! I love the snow! The real stuff too. I can never pick a favorite – love them all!!! Can’t wait to see what you galz do with present cards!

  21. love all of the cards as well as the pot….that pot would go grt in my kitchen..enjoy..thks

  22. Diana Yee says:

I collected teapots which made it easy for people to give me gifts but my house got over runned with them so I had to announce no more teapots gifts unless its your first teapot gift to me. Then there is my collection of rubber stamps themes ie tea, Asian, shoes, mermaids….All the snow themed cards are so warm and cozy to admire unlike the real stuff that is piling up outside now.

  23. Leslie W. says:

OMG! love the cards and the le creuset too! Happy Chanukah!

  24. Kristin says:

Dear Santa, I would like to be able to colour like the bellas! As for collections, it seems that I’ve started a paper collection (buying it waaay faster than I’m using it). Oh, and books. Even if they’re really bad, I find it difficult to get rid of them.

  25. Linda Van Dyne says:

What an absolutely gorgeous grouping of cards. I am just itching to get my stash out and start creating!. Thanks for the chance to win.

  26. Tina L. says:

Ahhh.. Le Creuset.. c’est magnifique!!! I too have decided to finally break down and invest in these wonderful pots. I’ve been eyeing them for years now and I can’t hold off any longer!! I have a sizable gift certificate for Williams Sonoma and have decided it will all go towards Le Creuset pots. I’m opting for the beautiful teal blue color… but that yellow sure is pretty too! I’ve collected various things over the years but I’d say one of my favorite collections would be my little Limoges boxes. The important thing to remember when we collect things is not to go overboard… a few nice pieces can go a long way vs. having to have every piece ever released – except for when it comes to collecting Bella stamps of course!!! That’s a totally different ball game and rest assured…I must now add all those beautiful new releases to my already HUGE collection!! :o)
