didjamiss me? OMG sistahs, it has been the CRAZIEST month EVAH. I actually had to take a day off yesterday to just put myself back together. I was fighting a cold since last week and just couldn’t afford it to come out..LOL and yesterday I felt like I had full blown MALARIA..LOL.
But I am BACK. for GOOD. NO SHOWS for a little while. I BE HAPPY! The Creativ festival was really amazing.. met lotsa new peeps, lotsa familiar peeps.. it was great. Isabelle demo’d VIVA DECOR which was amazing.. I demo’d colouring which also worked out really well.. we shared a table.. it was scary..LOL. Just kiddinK.. we had a PHENOM TIME! I will be replenishing the shop with lots of goodies so please come back by the end of week and you will see the teeny tiny weeny winy jars of inka gold which are the cutest things EVAH!!!
I need to share some SHOW LOVE…
I got to take a little break and sat down with a master embroiderer, Katrina Witten from ROWAN DEAN EMBROIDERY and her darling sweet adorable hubby, as I am DYING to learn different stitches and I must say, I am learning and enjoying every minute! I will show you a picture of the make and take I did.. it is DEELISH! I was having SUCH a hard time with the french know but I DIDDDDDDDDIT!!!
Another one of my most fave booFs at the show was MAD ABOUT PATCHWORK.. their fabrics were AMAZING and of course I bought some.. now DON’T ask me if my sewing machine is outta da box.. and DON”T ask me what I will do with the fabric. I am gonna stare at it for a while and get inspired 🙂

Welcome back! Of course we missed you. I love your embroidered piece. French knots are the bane of my existence. I don’t believe I have ever successfully gotten one. I get giant grubby knots and a hole in the cloth, but that’s about it.
Off to do my sketch 🙂

Love your stitchery project – really sweet and like the coloured background. You did well with the french knots. I LOVE TO HAND EMBROIDER!! You will find them a cinch to make in no time at all :o)
I use my fabric on my cards. There are products out there to iron it to your card so you DON’T HAVE to sew you know :o)…..and fabric makes the prettiest flowers!
