Sounds good! Seriously, though, http://www.myfitnesspal.com is fantastic — just diet and exercise, and they help you determine how many calories you can have a day to lose approx 1 pound a week. I have lost 17 pounds, my husband has lost 30, and counting. It’s basically just a free on-line diet journal…and it works! 🙂 It is so hard to think of dieting and the upcoming holidays (halloween candy all over the place!!).

Heidi, I never heard of My Fitness Pal before, thank you so much for sharing. I have just signed up and I hope to see results like yourself.
Emily, I love the idea of Weight Watchers Wednesday, nothing like sharing our ups and downs with food amongst the sistahs !!!

  4. love weight watchers wwill def stop by every wednesday..I attend meetings weekly..hit my 5% marker least week..grt idea

  5. I love Weight Watchers but I’m not doing it right now. I lost over 30 pounds about 2-3 years ago and then put most of it back on. But the thing is, I’m actually happy and I am healthy. So I don’t really let it bother me. Most of the time.

i am still doing ww but i don,t count points. i hate counting points. boring. i just make sure. eat breakfast, more than coffee. i eat protein more than ever and i try not to overdo the sweet stuff. but i do indulge. i do get weighed in weekly and so far i have lost 19.2 since april. it,s slow but steady and i haven,t really exercised yet. that,s my next big challenge. i hate exercise. boring. btw i think you are the mostest gorgeous meatloaf top i have ever known…
hugs, your fellow meatloaf top, maryg

I’m counting points too! and I’m loving it!! I have lost 27 pounds since the end of April. I turn 50 next year and when my birthday was rolling around this year I thought I don’t want to turn 50 looking like this. I need to lose a LOT more – probably 100 total but I can’t believe how much better I already feel. I told my son when I hit 50 pounds I am going zip lining – I can’t wait!! WW Wednesdays is a great idea.

i’ve been going to WW for over a year, it is convenient because we have ‘at work’ meetings every tuesday at noon. I lost 20lbs and have 5 more to go but I sort of stopped counting points and I’d better start again if I wanna lose that last 5. I even bought a moleskin recipe journal for my fav WW recipes. So if you want recipe’s girls….I start posting them here.
