General BLABLA

*sniff* *sniff*

I was FORBIDDEN to walk my kids to their first day of school today because I would make them too sad and it would be “UNBEARABLE” mummy if you come… LOL.  I mean I don’t get it.. just because I was bawling my HEAD off.. does that mean that I would make it “UNBEARABLE?”.. So my baby is now in Grade one.. and my eldest is in grade 4… I know it is SO boring for people to read these personal posts.. but let’s pretend it’s my “text” journal today.. rather than my art journal..

Here are the kidlets… Tyler was kinda sad so I had to tell them to say a “swear word” in front of the camera so they would laugh… it worked!

just remembah sistahs.. one is NEVAH too old for HELLO KITTY 🙂

the walk to school.. including Frankie lol

thank you for letting me share my little sniffing episode

mwah to da sistahs who can CONTROL their SNIFFS

As a soon to be mom, your morning post made me smile & just about led to tears at the same time. Even after a fitfull sleep because my unborn child decided to start it’s first very obvious round of kicks last night. Ok now I think I’m crying. Lol, thanks Emily for the lovely post!

I dread & look forward to all the wonderful 1st including the 1st day of school even though I’ll probably bawl my head off too.

Hey me too Em, I was not allowed to take them to the bus stop. It was already emotional at home and well my daughter is now getting to old for mommy and daddy kisses when being dropped off in front of school. It’s going to be a very quiet day today. Ohh and you are absolutely correct, you can never be too old for hello kitty. Tyler and Jayden look so cute !!!! sending them lots of kisses !!

  9. Anne Porretta says:

You put them to bed early because they’re starting kindergarten in the morning . . . and they wake up graduating from university . . . no, really, it’s true!

Even harder was Joshie’s bubby (bubbysitting her baby every day) having to let him go when he started daycare . . . Sniff, sniff, indeed!

Hi Em, wow, your daughter looks just like you! My three had their first day too here in Abu Dhabi, but I have to tell you, after a week of crazy jetlag and grumpiness, I was glad to see them go!

My “24 year old baby” is officially moving to Florida. Can you hear this mom crying all the way from Texas???? Great pictures Em….they are growing way too fast!

Ok, confession time…its ok to be sniffly, or even bawl(ly….is that even a word)? My son is now 20 years old and even NOW I can still remember his first day at school…so you can imagine what a sniffling, bawling fool I was!!! And the worst, u never forget that first day at school. He just started his 2nd year in college and I still want to walk(drive)him to school…but I dont think that’s something he’ll wanna post on his Facebook page, so I stayed home…waaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

I just took my son to his very first day of school and I could not believe how hard it was on ME. He just turned and walked off and started playing but I just barely made it to my car before I started SOBBING!!! It’s crazy how hard it is to let them go! I thought it would just be this first time but now I’m realizing from all of you guys that it’s going to be the same every year??? Oh great!

  15. Angela P. says:

Awww, so cute! (I agree, Hello Kitty rocks!)

My “babies” are now in 5th and 8th grade…I have no idea where the time went?!

  16. Linda says:

    I feel your pain!!

  17. They’re so cute, Em! They both have such great smiles!

  18. DianaY says:

it doesn’t get any easier even when they are older, we had to say goodbye to my youngest (17) before he passed through airport security for his plane to China. We won’t see him for 2 years and since his best friends came to the airport to see him off, I held off the waterworks until we got home.
