Hello everyone! It’s Francine from Switzerland here! First of all: HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you had a fabulous New Year’s Eve.
For my first post this year, I have a holiday card to share with you:
I absolutely love walking in the snow with my Moon Boots and having snowball fights. This is probably why this rubber stamp (called The Littles Snowball Girl) immediately caught my attention. The sentiment is from the Holiday Sentiment rubber stamp set. I went for a clean and simple design using dotted patterned paper to make the image pop against the background. I stamped the snowball girl on cardstock, colored her and cut around, keeping a white border at the bottom. I glued dotted paper to a top-folded card base and adhered the image with the white border to the card front with foam pads for more dimension and interest.
It’s all for me today! I have one more card to share with you next Wednesday.

Marker Geek Monday: Colouring Zodiac Girl Capricorn using Copic Markers (video)

Hello everyone! Francine here! I hope you had a fabulous Christmas! Did you get a lot of crafty gifts and stamps for Christmas? LOL
Today, I have a fun winter project to share with you featuring the Little Bits Figure Skaters. Here is what I came up with:
I decided to create a scene showing a reflection on the ice. This ice reflection stamping is a super fun and easy technique! I started by creating a mask for the skater using masking paper. I then stamped the skater in black ink on white cardstock and masked him. I also drew a horizon line to divide the iced surface and the sky. Next, I stamped the skater in black ink on a transparent sheet and I pressed the sheet onto the white cardstock below the skater (upside down) to create the reflection. I sponged the sky using various blue Distress inks and I removed the mask. I colored the skater as well as the reflection and the iced surface. I heat embossed the wonderful sentiment from the Holiday Sentiment set with white embossing powder. The white sentiment really pops against the blue background. I added a tiny orange heart for more cuteness. To finish off the card, I matted the scene on white cardstock and a blue card base.

Hiya sistahs.. well it’s our final Bellarific Friday of 2017.. I’m kinda emotional.. LOL. What a year we have had.. beautiful designs.. more frequent fun releases.. more content on da blog thanks to Marker Geek and an AMAZING Design Team who bring our designs to life every single week. I am DEEPLY grateful. We have more ideas for 2018.. more products.. new way to celebrate our Bellarific Friday.. we will discuss all this on our first Friday of January , January 5th.
