EDIT: STAMPS ARE ALL NOW AVAILABLE TO ORDER in the WHAT’S NEW section on the Stamping Bella store.
It’s the second and final day of previews for the new release! Keeping it short and sweet for you this time, as we know it has already been a long wait since our last release. If you missed the first day of peeks, you can check out that post HERE.
Today we’re sharing some amazing new ODDBALL STAMPS! You know I love the Oddballs, and I also have a soft spot for all things dinosaur, so I’m in stamping heaven with these. It looks like the Babes have been too, because their cards are DINOTASTIC. Prepare to be amazed. If they wowed you yesterday, they will knock your socks off today! I know that Emily would be SO PROUD. They truly show how these dinos can work for all sorts of occasions and cards, and can be soft and pretty, earthy, or bold and bright. LOVE. As Emily would say: OUTSTANDING!
Our special guest designers for this release are the amazing SANDRA PETERSEN and SUE HASTEAD. A big thank you to them for joining us with some absolutely stunning work.
The new release will be available to order on the website on TUESDAY 31st JANUARY 2023 – not long to wait!
We also have a new DINO SENTIMENT SET to go with all the images today. Of course we also have an existing range of SENTIMENT SETS to help you create cards for every occasion, as well as BACKDROP STAMPS to set the scene if that’s your thing! In fact, we have a NEW backdrop stamp today, which you will see on many of the cards below!
Our older CAVE KIDS BACKDROP is also great to pair with the new Oddball Cave Couple and Oddball Dinos (as well as the Gnomes as seen yesterday), but for this release we really wanted an actual CAVE. Here it is, and it is perfect!
Now, let’s get to it and take a look at all of the eye candy from the BABES and our SPECIAL GUESTS!
Just look at this pair! They’ve had it with prehistoric life. This is a set of two stamps, so as you can see in the samples below: use them together, use them separately, arrange them however you want to create a scene.
Card above by guest designer Sandra Petersen. Sandra also used our ODDBALL GNOME KIDS stamp set to add the snail and toadstool to this brilliant scene!
This is one of my personal favourites from the release. Oddball Dino Trio is a set of three separate stamps, so the possibilities are endless! So many ways to use them – all on one card, create scenes with them and the other stamps, use them separately. Whatever you want!
SUCH a great image. Use this one for Mother’s Day, for fun scenes for any occasion, or just because it’s cute… As I mentioned, I’m a dino fan, so in my craft room this one is going on some cards AND getting stamped in my journal, along with the others!
Amy also used a sentiment from our CURVY GIRL MOM stamp set.
Tamara used a sentiment from our CURVY GIRL BOY MOM stamp set.
Watch Elaine colour this stamp in the video below. If you enjoy watching please do like the video and subscribe over on her YouTube channel.

How’s that for inspiration? I’ve got so many ideas for using these new stamps, I can’t wait to get back in the craft room and play!
Just ONE MORE SLEEP till you can order them all!

EDIT: STAMPS ARE ALL NOW AVAILABLE TO ORDER in the WHAT’S NEW section on the Stamping Bella store.
Hey folks, Elaineabella here. Over the past couple of months, we have had the task of finalising the release that Emily was preparing in November. I’m happy to say, that even though it has been tough, we have pulled together and brought the new release to life exactly as Emily would have done. I know that she would be absolutely thrilled with the amazing work the Babes have done creating cards to share the new stamps with you all.
With that said, I will crack on and show you the first set of sneak peeks! If you’re already a Gnome fan you will be very happy. If you have yet to fall for everything gnome, then today might just be the day! Grab a snack and your beverage of choice, there’s a lot to see, and you won’t want to miss any of it.
The GNOMES have all found themselves in different roles for this release. From the everyday hero to the fantastical, there is SO MUCH fun to be had creating with these stamps. The Babes and a couple of special guest designers have created some incredible cards to inspire you. I’m delighted to finally be able to share them all with you. PLEASE do drop a comment here on the blog and let them know how much you appreciate their hard work, we all love to hear from you.
Hello friends!
Amy here with another Valentine’s Day card for our Scenic Saturday, though this one goes in a completely different direction than my previous Oddball card. Rather than quirky and a bit tongue-in-cheek, this XO Squidgy is as sweet as can be.
Now, I will admit that I struggle with coloring scenes for characters when they are with over large items, like this squidgy’s giant letters. Unless the character is small, like a fairy, the difference in scale usually leaves me scratching my head on what to color around them. That doesn’t mean I don’t love the image and I certainly still want to create a card with it, I just have to step out of my box and get creative. In this case I found myself reaching for a pattern paper pad to pull my Copic colors from and use on the bottom half of my card. The bubble gum pink dressed XO Squidgy and then I masked her off so I could airbrush this pretty aqua behind her, using a stencil to add the hearts and dots. I used a dainty stitched scallop border die to separate the two panels and glued everything to a white card base that ties back to the large letters that I colored white. The addition to the sentiment was from the same Doodlebug paper pad and the little enamel heart is from Doodlebug as well. So while this card is definitely different than my usual style of card making, I had a lot of fun with it and think that if it was any sweeter it might just give me a toothache… LOL!
That’s all from me today, be sure to check back tomorrow for new release previews!
