Ok, every friday I am gonna begin the post by saying.. “CAN YOU BELIEVE IT”S FRIDAY ALREADY?”.. I know it’s boring but it’s da TROOF (truth)..  I really don’t know where the time goes sistahs!!  It’s been crazy here since the release of our exclusive Quickutz Die and we soooo appreciate the positive feedback and the enthusiasm!  ThaSS da WAY I LIKKKKE IT!!!!  Hope you had a great week!  The entries this week are outstanding as usual and honestly? it is my SHEER pleasure to post them for everyone to see!  So sit back, get a cuppa java and enjoy! Let’s see what da BABES have been up to for this challenge!

Nickabella made a STUNNING card using Suzette Ketto.. This was Nicky’s layout and boy did she get it right! LOL.. look at those BUTTONS!

Danabella made a gorgeous card using Chichiboulie’s  POLLY PACKAGES..

So colourful! so BEEYOOTIFUL!

Dana also made a card on her blog using BEEDAY HUGGABUGG.  In that card she used our cotton candy bonbons which are sooo magically bright!  She also used the Blossom Nestabilities and American Crafts RUTH BUTTONHAM paper (how cute are those names?) GORGEROUS!

Jenabella made a stunning card using ADDY TUDE.. shhhh don’t tell anyone but we have a few more ADDY’s comin’! shhhhhh. Look how BEAUTIFULLY Jen colored, and the bonbons.. and the DIVA stamp (which comes with Addy) on the border randomly stamped.. OMG YUMMMMO!!!

Joannabella made a gorgeous card using TYLER THE JOCK.

Is this not TDF?  the colors.. the COLORING!  LOVE IT!

Karenabella made a stunning card using STELLA HAS HER FIX and she used one of our Bella Badges! from Stella’s Love Set!  How clever! Love the card!!

Lindabella made a gorgeous card using BlueBell BITTYBLOOM.  Is she not DEEEEVINE??? and I love that I now see that “think pink” is so versatile and can really be used on anything PINK! (I am so slow I know).. Check out the coloring..OMG.  Linda also has a BEEYOOTIFUL card on her blog today using LOVEY HUGGABUGG… GRRRR… me wanna color like DAT.

Paulabella made a card using Stella’s Goin’ Shoppin’

I need to do another HMPH re. coloring..LOL  HMPHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.  Stella just comes to life!  Paula also made a card here using Stella has something to say and using Bella Boulevard sweet celebration paper.. YUMMY!!

Sarahbella made a GORGEOUS LAYOUT based on this sketch using Cosmocricket Snorkel and Girl Friday .. yum yum yum!

Shannanabella made a beeyooooootifullll card using Patricia Birthday Cake. LOOOVE IT!!!!!

And here is my contribution 🙂 using my FAVORITE STUNNING PHENOM new CRATE PAPER.  I used monstah bash to match da paypah.  Also posted the new “from the gang” sentiment.. so cute with da monstahs 🙂 and 10 mm glittah dots in poppy .  I layered 5mm bonbons in the middle.. LOVE the dimension.. YUM!

here she is.. in all her splendour LOL.. A year in the making and she is finally here! OMG.. I am in love with her, and she will be a collector’s item.. exclusive to DA BELLA!  We are trying to build on her image and make her cute little outfits!  Is this FUN OR WHAT?  She comes on two 4*4 dies for the revolution, bigshot etc!  She is so much fun to dress and, well, to look at!  There are quite a few little pieces to glue but like I said, I had a BLAST “building” her!

I made this little cover of a mini album using her.. boy do I have a project ahead of me!

and here are the rest of the pages I have to work on.. HMPH! (but the papers are STUNNING.. would look good plain too, no? LOL)

Hiya sistahs!  Whuss happenin?

We are biZzy Bizzy in bellaland preparing for our little surprise tomorrow 🙂

I wanted to share a layout I made using the whole Prima rebellious collection.  If you know me, you will realize that I almost FREAKED at CHA when I saw this paper..LOL.. I just love it!  It’s so versatile the back of this paper has teeny tiny weeny winy houndstooth (which is hot hot hot! right now)

So here it is!  The die cut shape on the right .. you will be seeing more of these shapes on our store. I cut out the frames in the “DESTRUCTIVE” paper, used the borders in the REBEL paper, the ESSENTIALS 6 flowers which match.. basically used the whole line..LOL. I also used white JEWELRY BOX thickers for my title

Take a looky at how I attached the little picture… guess how?  YUP I used the Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher… I LOOOOOOOOOOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE THIS TOOL!!!!!!  They are just the cutest little staples I have ever seen.. teeny tiny!!!

My poor Tyler.. I had to have him stand in Walmart parking lot cuz he was wearing the perfect SHIRT.. have you ever done that to your kids? LOL

I loved the paper so much that I made two 4*4 cards (MY NEW FAVORITE SIZE CARD).. to go with the rest of the theme (i have found 4 1/8 * 4 1/8 envelopes to go with these cards!! SO EXCITING!) I used HOW I ROLL paper, and I used the new SKULL ek success slim punch for the popped skulls and used our preciosa BLING ss12 crystal for the eyes… cute or what?

Now for the second card, I used our sentiment and the same paper as above and the reverse :).  I also stamped SKULLY ketto in versamark watermark ink after “treating” the paper with our bella static bag.. then used our ZING embossing powder in CRICKET. Also used our ek success slim stackable photo corner just to add an element and a little bling in the corner 🙂

Nicky used cherryblossom BITTYBLOOM along with our new Doodlebug Cherries Jubilee paper collection!  GORGEOUS no?

Another card was made  by Nickabella using the largest of the 3 separate daisy background featuring Doodlebug’s new CHUNKY GLITTER in the center of each flower.. LUSCIOUS!!  The “backdrop” paper used is Basic Grey VIOLET from the Wisteria Collection

Jenabella made a gorgeous card using our KNOWLEDGE SPEAKS stamp.. I JUST LOVE IT!!! the coloring and the IDA ZIPERRELI paper from American Crafts.. is it not STUNNING??? She also made a GORGEOUS card using SHOWER BUGG!  LOVE IT!!

Joannabella made a deelish card using our Turtle Tots TEDDY BEAR stamp.. Isn’t it CUTE????

Lindabella made a STUNNERIFIC (new word) card using our HAPPY FLOWERS.. OMG.. to FAINT for!!

Sarahbella has the cutest “DANDIEST” layout using our SOLID Funky Dandelion stamp.  ISn’t it AMAZING??? she also used the KETTO badge (which I will post later) and thickers.. YUMMO!

Hi sistahs!  I hope you will enjoy this post.  It was such a pleasure to post and the entries were more than phenomalish!!  I am glad to see that da sistahs enjoyed the challenge.. more sketch challenges to follow!

First I am so excited to introduce all of you to our newest Scrappy Babe!!! She will be interpreting our challenges into scrappy projects!  She is teaching at Bellaland and she is sooo amazing and scrumptious.  We lovey her!  so please welcome Sarah Pendergrast.  Please add her to your blog addictions as her projects are SOOO much fun!!

Here is a little bio on her

“Having always been uber crafty, I have dabbled in several crafts over the years.  I think I made my first scrapbook in junior high by pasting in little bits of memorabilia, girl guide badges and various ribbons into linear and organized pages, but obviously nothing that rivals the pages of today.  I tried scrapbooking again after I got married, when I attempted to make a wedding album.  Unfortunately, I didn’t realize that the essence of scrapbooking is to tell a story and in my quest for completeness, tried to find a way to incorporate over 700 photos into my book.  After that frustrating and disappointing experience, everything was packed into a box, and shoved to the back of a closet, with the realization that scrapbooking wasn’t for me.

However, after my daughter was born a few years later, I decided to give it a try again after going to a Friday night crop.  With a little guidance from my fellow croppers, I fell in love with the hoppy as it is today.  I couldn’t resist the beautiful patterned papers, tiny brads and most of all the endless creative potential.  Not long after I took up the hobby with a passion, I began teaching classes, and looking for ways to develop my skills and learn new techniques.  After much thought, I invested in a Quickutz die cutting tool, which opened up a whole world of creative possibilities.  You can find Quickutz designs incorporated into many of my projects, and I had the honour of serving on their design team in 2008.  These days, I try to eek out little bits of time for scrapbooking as I am home with my 2 kids, in search of that elusive thing they call “balance”.  I love to tell stories, and I love to create.  I’m thrilled that I’ve been asked to be part of the Bellarific team and share my passion and projects with all of you! “

So here was the sketch challenge this week

How much fun was this challenge?  it was so much fun that I couldn’t even figure out how to make the card..LOL.. I kept on asking Nicky does this look right? the square’s too small.. where do I put the circle? LOLOL.. just couldn’t get it.. so I’m  out this week.. I have VOTED MYSELF OFF cuz really? if you woulda seen what I concocted?!?!? OMG terrible.

So let’s begin with DA NEW KID ON DA BLOCK

Sarahbella made a gorgeous layout following the sketches’ guidelines. Isn’t it stunning?? Sarah used Collage press Sweet Shoppe papers, American Craft LAX THICKERS, prima flowers, glimmer mist.. YUM!

Nickabella made a gorgeous card using flutterby huggabugg.  For the circle she used was the Marvy Extra Giga 3.5″ circle punch, she texturized it using the new QUICKUTZ embossing folder POLKADOTS and used the beeyootiful Basic Grey WIND CHIMES paper from the wisteria collection. Gorgeous!

Danabella made a BEEYOOTIFUL CARD using QUEEN BEE HUGGABUGG and our crystal bonbons.  Stunning!

Jenabella used Cakey Watt and our sentiment for her sketch.. isn’t it adorable??? She also used  American Crafts SPLASH paper for her circle, and bo bunny WASABI dot paper from the double dot collection of papers.  Her scalloped punch in the background used is the FISKARS APRON LACE punch.. isn’t this card just PHENOM?

Joannabella made the CUH-UTEST card using our TURTLE-TOTS CHEERLEADER and our sentiment.. check out the pompoms.. OMG.. all frilly and sticking out… could you just faint??

Karenabella made an absolutely stunning card using TOOL TIME.  Is this not a the most perfect father’s day card?? and the hardware?  YUMMALISH!  LOVE THIS CARD!

Lindabella made a STUNNING card using our SUNDAY DRESS stamp (but the sunday dress is discontinued.. shhhhhhh).. IT’s GORGEOUSSSSSSS! Linda used our gorgeous light cocoa flat backed glass pearls, cuttlebug swiss dots to texturize the square, the  dotted scallop slim edger punch for the pink porder under the sentiment.. PHENOM!

Paulabella made a SCRUMMY (Dena’s word mixing Scrumptious and Yummy together- please add this to DA BELLA dictionary pronto) card using CHARLOTTE KETTO.

Paula also used Basic Grey’s Urban Prairie collection for the background.. did I not promise SCRUMMINESS?

Shannanabella made a gorgeous card using ALTEE ‘TUDE and our light cocoa dots.. BEEYOOOOOTIFUL!!!

As you all know I am an American Idol Junkie.  I am constantly in awe of the fresh talent portrayed on this show.  I am quite disappointed with the results last night, but that is another entry 🙂

For now, if you didn’t watch it and just want to have a HAPPY DAY.. a FEEL GOOD DAY.. A YUMMY and INSPIRATIONAL day, here is a highlight of my favorite happy moments of the show.  I was on the phone with my BFF Mel as the show went on blablabla’ing when all of a sudden we were both quiet.  That’s weird.  I mean REALLY quiet.  This was when Steve Martin came on playing the banjo and having one of his ballads sung by Megan Joy and Michael Sarver

This song was OUTSTANDING.  Mel has an obssession with knowing the words to songs so she can sing to her hearts content.  This was the email I received this morning
