Today I’ve got TWO videos for you! One is my usual speed colouring video showing the colouring for Stamping Bella’s Gnome with Lantern. The second video is a Copic lantern glow tutorial, showing how I created the glow effect around the lantern. It’s easier than you might think!
This little fellow is one of my favourites from this year’s Holiday release at Stamping Bella.
In case you missed it, you can get some additional ideas and tips for colouring his beard in my 3 Ways to Colour Beards/Fur with Copic Markers video. There is also a coloured pencil version HERE.

That’s it for now! I hope you find these videos useful.

On Monday I shared 3 Ways to Colour Beards with Copic Markers. Today I’ve got a similar post and video for you, but with coloured pencils! Watch my video to find out how I like to approach colouring beards with coloured pencil.
As with the Copic marker version, even if gnomes aren’t your thing, this video will still be useful. The techniques work for any fur or hair texture. The approaches I share are the same ones I use to colour yetis, polar bears, and other animal images, as well as hair and beards on other characters like Father Christmas!
Here’s a close look at the final results – I think they are all effective. My personal favourite is the third one, which is yours?
