Hi! Tamara here with you. Today I have an astronaut/space/universe card for you. First I started with alcohol inks background and it didn’t turn out just the way I planned so I made another one using Distress oxide inks and didn’t like that one either so I printed out this watercolour universe digital paper and it fits my coloured images perfectly. LOL.
Images used on this card are from Tiny Townie Astronauts rubber stamps. There are 4 astronauts in this set, but I decided to use only two. As you can see they arrived on a strange black-white planet. Images were stamped with Archival Ink – Jet Black on 300g HP watercolour paper and then coloured up using Distress ink pads.
Distress ink colour used are: vintage photo, ground espresso, black soot, scorched timber, picked raspberries, spiced marmalade, barn door, broken china.
Hello everyone! Delphineabella here to share a spring scene this weekend featuring a couple of stamps from our latest release… and more!
The two characters I used are the oh so adorable MINI ODDBALL BEE KID and MINI ODDBALL BUTTERFLY GIRL. I wanted flowers for them, so decided to use the FLORAL FOREST BACKDROP.
To create my scene and have both characters on the flowers, I started by stamping the backdrop on a piece of draft paper, positioning the stamp in the corner of my stamp press to put it back there easily afterwards. I then stamped the characters using my stamp press on my piece of draft to make sure they were in the position I wanted. Then I took my Copic paper, stamped my characters on it, masked them and stamped the background on top.
I coloured everything in Copics and added a sentiment from our new HELLO SPRING SENTIMENT set.

So, here in the UK the weather is miserable. It has been miserable for what seems like forever, and we are all sick of rain. So while I am looking forward to Spring, and more sunshine and colour, I find myself inside with my nose buried in a book. Which, in fairness, is one of my favourite activities. That’s why I’m spotlighting a particular UPTOWN GIRL today…
Isn’t she fantastic? I love the retro feel to her, and she is so stylish. Such a fun Uptown Girl. She comes with the fab friendship themed sentiment, but you could pair her with so many sentiments from our SENTIMENT SETS and use her for all sorts of occasions. I’ve got her out to stamp on kraft for some pencil colouring soon, and I’m eyeing the I MISS YOUR FACE SENTIMENT SET to pair with her for a fun card!
