It’s Tuesday, so here I am shining a big spotlight on some older but still absolutely fantastic stamps. They might be sitting somewhere in your collection, waiting to be dusted off again, or they might be totally new to you. Either way, let’s take a look at what the Babes have done with them in the past, and get inspired!
For more Close Ups inspiration see my post from last week: Close Ups Part 1
I love this stamp set. It’s so cute. I’ve used it a few times before, but this time I decided to put the gnomes in a little woodland scene.
Stamps Used: Smoochie Gnomes, Love Sentiment set

Hi!
Tamara here with you with a Valentine’s Day card! YES! It’s that time of the year already. I usually make a few Valentine’s Day cards a year but I often add sentiments that can be used for other occasions too. Image used today is called Closeups “IN LOVE” and it comes with an awesome sentiment which I added inside the card (but forgot to take a picture, duh ..).Image was stamped using Distress Ink pads on 300g HP wtarecolour paper and then coloured up with Distress Ink pads and fussy cut.Distress Ink colours used are:
skin: vintage photo
hair: antique linen, walnut stain
sweater: mowed lawn, forest moss
daisies: fossilized amber, spiced marmalade, hickory smoke
shirt: broken china, black soot
skirt, heart: barn door, fired brickI made a slimline card because I wanted to add some big letters instead of sentiment on the front and I needed more space on the card. Papers used are from various companies.
I hope you like my card. Enjoy your Sunday!
Hugs, t.
