Hey folks! Elaineabella here again. 😉 This week for “Spotlight On” just one lucky stamp gets to bask in the glow of my ginormous spotlight: our September Stamp of The Month Peaches the Stuffie!
Important Note:
Normally today, being the first Tuesday of the month, would be CRAZY TUESDAY. Since this month it coincided with the brand new Holiday 2016 release, in order to avoid TOO much craziness the Crazy Tuesday offers have been moved to the second Tuesday of the month – so watch out for the usual Crazy Tuesday offers next week on 13th September 2016!
What is Stamp of the Month all about?
If you are just joining us, or simply haven’t heard of our Stamp of The Month offer, here’s the scoop! Each month we feature one stamp as Stamp of The Month, and for the whole month you can enjoy a fantastic 20% off that particular stamp. No rushing to place your order, you can order whenever you like during the month and take advantage of the offer on that stamp.
This month’s featured stamp is Peaches the Stuffie. If you haven’t already got her, now is the time to add her to your collection! Read on to see why I think you NEED this one. 😉
Spotlight On Peaches the Stuffie Rubber Stamp
Peaches is one of the adorable and humour filled images in our Stuffies collection of stamps. She’s not having the greatest day, as you can see. It happens to us all.
Isn’t she perfect for sending a quick note to a friend who you know is having a rough time? The sentiment in the set is a nice one for offering support. Or you could pair her with another sentiment, like I did:
Instead of using the sentiment that comes in the Peaches stamp set, I used one from another favourite of mine The Chicks Who Couldn’t Even. The simple “RIGHT?” just seemed too fitting.
You could also use Peaches for a humorous birthday card, or an everyday notecard. Why not? She’s cute and funny. You could even add her to a planner page if you’re having one of THOSE weeks, I think she says it all!
Over To You!
Hopefully I’ve inspired you to add Peaches the Stuffie to your collection, or if you already have to get her stamped up!

Hey folks, Elaineabella here! It’s Tuesday again, so I’m back with my giant spotlight ready to shine it on some of my favourite stamps in the Stamping Bella collection. We have a fantastic range of images, old and new, and they all deserve a lot of love and attention! Hopefully today I can either inspire you to pull out some of the stamps in your collection and get them inked up, or to add some new to you stamps that you may have previously missed! Where possible I’ve also added links to useful content to help you colour and create with the stamps.
Spotlight On The Tiny Townies:
The Uptown Girls range has been a favourite at Stamping Bella for quite some time now, and those leggy lovelies have found their way into many stamp collections across the globe. In 2015 we introduced you to their little sisters – The Tiny Townies. I think it’s safe to say they found a place in all of our stamping hearts too! It’s no secret, I am a sucker for cute, so I absolutely love the Tiny Townies. I also have four young nieces so the Tiny Townies are definitely earning their place in my stamp collection. 😉
Let’s take a look at some of my favourites so far.
This one puts a gorgeous little Tiny Townie with our lovely Petunia Pig from The Woodsies collection. Such a fun image, and as usual Em put a lovely sentiment in the set with it. Use the image with the included sentiment for a great friendship card or a cute and sentimental card for a young relative. Or pair the image with another sentiment for a fun any occasion card or birthday card. You can see more of Petunia the Pig in my Spotlight On The Woodsies post!
Simple reason – she reminds me of me! I’ve been a bookworm since I can remember. Substitute the cuddly monster for a dog and this could almost be a photo. 😉
So cute and so determined. She’s going to take on the world, she’s going to succeed. Or she’s going to give her brother a super wedgie. Maybe both, not necessarily in that order.
Michelleabella made a fantastic card featuring little Hayley.
I feel Christmassy just looking at her. Notice those Cool Chicks have managed to insert themselves into the picture again. There’s no shaking those guys. Seriously, they just fly right back. I say fly, I mean flap their little wings ineffectually and bump into things.
That dress can be a fun challenge to colour if you want to add the folds and colour the pattern. Might have to include it in a Marker Geek Monday sometime soon!
Yep. There they are again, all over the place. Can’t even watch a movie in peace. So cute though. Must be a scary movie, look at them all peeking from behind their wings. Well, I think one of the ones under the chair is actually hoovering up popcorn with his beak. Judging by the one under the chair with his face fully covered it HAS to be a horror movie, or an Adam Sandler flick. 😉
This one comes with the fab “best friend” sentiment as pictured, but I think it would make a fun card for anyone. It would be fantastic on a card for a young family member who loves movies – maybe with some tickets or a cinema gift card inside!
Love the way Paulabella coloured this one in her soft, cozy style. *happy sigh*
Hopefully I’ve inspired you to add some Tiny Townies to your collection, or if you already have to get them stamped up!

Hey all! Elaineabella here today to shine that spotlight on some of the wonderful stamps in the Stamping Bella collection. There are some many fantastic images we don’t want you to miss any, and they all deserve another turn in the spotlight. We love sharing all the new releases, but the oldies definitely deserve some love too!
Spotlight On Christine Grove
Today I’d like to shine the spotlight on one of our awesome artists – Christine Grove. Christine has illustrated some wonderful and warmly humorous stamps for Stamping Bella, each with their own special charm. Let’s take a look at some of them.
This little dog is just…well, words fail me. That expressive face. He’s a popular little guy, and I’m not surprised. One of those stamps that just never fails to make me smile.
If you love our little Nacho, there’s also a festive option! Nachodeer, because well, obviously!
Isn’t he ridiculous? Look at him trying to work out what on earth he has come as. 😉 Nachodeer also has a coordinating CUT IT OUT die available to make creating those Christmas cards easy, and let’s face it we all need all the help we can get with the festive workload right?
While we’re talking festive images, here are a couple more holiday favourites of mine:
This pair of Christmas elves could not be cuter. This image has a warm, quirky yet cosy style that just makes me feel Christmassy. It’s hard to explain, but they do! Also, look at those reindeer slippers and their pigeon toed stance. I simply cannot. Can you? 😉
For goodness sake! You cannot leave anything unattended without some little weirdo shoving it in their mouth. Candy cane? Christmas mouse has no idea what you’re talking about. Nope.
Love the humour in Christine’s images, and this is a perfect example. Ideal for creating cards for friends and family that prefer humour to sentimentality. I think I need to colour this little fellow again soon – I’ve got the perfect recipient in mind.
Moving away from the festive stamps, although you really should take a closer look at the whole range if you haven’t already… On to some more of my everyday favourites.
I love this little guy with the heart shaped balloon. He’s just so happy and chubby, and the little heart shape at the end of his tail? Just too much. Definitely a fun image to colour, with some opportunity for really emphasising those creases in his outfit with your shading. That sentiment is perfect too, and goes well with many other stamps across the Stamping Bella range.
Here’s a gorgeous card from our beloved Paulabella, showing that Milton looks equally wonderful in softer tones and that you can play with the sentiment by chopping it up to create your own (love doing this).
Another ridiculous little creature! Absolutely in love with him. Cutest chubby little owl ever. Who does he think he is with those glasses? Elton John?
Doesn’t he look perfect on Aliceabella’s beautiful card? Love her layered yet still clean and simple style.
Finally, let’s take a peek at the Seniorita line by Christine Grove. Personally, I rather enjoy the warmth and humour in this range of stamps.
No one is stopping that diva from strutting her stuff. Not you, not me, not Old Father Time. She’s amazing, she knows it and everyone else is going to know it. Getting old? Whatever. She’s not putting that boa away for anyone.
Over To You!
Hopefully I’ve inspired you to add some of the Christine Grove stamps to your own stamp collection, or to stamp up any that you already have!

Hey folks! Elaineabella here again with the giant spotlight. 🙂 This week I’m shining it on one stamp in particular, which just happens to be our August Stamp of The Month!
This month’s featured stamp is HONEYBEAR STUFFIES. A personal favourite of mine, and if you haven’t added it to your collection now is the time! Read on to see why I think you need this one. 😉
Spotlight on the HoneyBear Stuffies Rubber Stamp
We have so many sweet and sentimental designs in the Stamping Bella range. Sweet, sentimental and with a little touch of humour. The STUFFIES collection totally embodies that, and perhaps none more so than HoneyBear Stuffies.
Just. Look. At. Them. The one hanging on to/falling off the branch… Their little feet. Those bees! Super sweet.
Can I just admit that I am a complete sucker for a good Winnie the Pooh quote? Seriously. This one is perfect – look at these two little friends getting into mischief. Which one are you? I’m the one catching the honey and worrying that the other one is going to fall off and get the stuffing knocked out of him. I may also at one time or another have been the one dangling from the branch wondering how on earth I ended up in such a predicament. Maybe. 😉
Using HoneyBear Stuffies on your Cards!
Like many of the Stamping Bella images, this one is perfect for a variety of occasions. Send a sweet notecard to a friend, or anyone for that matter. The image goes perfectly with the accompanying sentiment, but you could easily pair it with something else. A simple “Hello” or “Oh Hi…” would work beautifully. Use it to say Happy Birthday, maybe get a little punny and wish someone a “Beary Happy Birthday”. Use it for Mother’s Day, use it for Father’s Day (bears are totally unisex y’know), use it for a New Baby card (it would be adorable for twins, don’t you think?). Maybe a Thank You For Being There card! Lots of excuses to colour up this adorable image.
Here’s some inspiration from the Bellarific Babes to get you going:
On my card I paired the image with a sentiment from one of our other stamp sets: Macaron Bouquet.
How’s that for inspiration?
Over To You!
Hopefully I’ve inspired you to add Honey Bear Stuffies to your collection, or if you already have to get it stamped up!

Hey folks! Elaineabella here with our weekly “Spotlight On” feature. This week it happens to be the first Tuesday of August. If you’re a regular reader and Stamping Bella fan you will probably be aware that the first Tuesday of every month is CRAZY TUESDAY!
What is Crazy Tuesday all about?
If you are just joining us, or simply haven’t heard of Crazy Tuesday, here’s the scoop! On the first Tuesday of every month we have a set of 24 hour specials. Three stamps are selected from across the Stamping Bella collection and offered at CRAZY prices for just 24 hours. It’s a great way to build your collection of Stamping Bella stamps, or to buy gifts for crafty friends and family at great prices.
The offers apply to the stamps only, for the 24 hour period only.
Let’s take a look at the images and grab a little inspiration from the Bellarific Babes to get you going!
Stamping Bella Especially for You Petunia rubber stamp:
It’s often the little details that really sell me on an image. Like the little itty bitty snail on the flower in this sweet Petunia image. Seriously. Cannot take the cuteness. The chick doesn’t care about the snail though. In fact I think he may be about to shake that flower stem and knock Mr Snail off so the attention is all on His Royal Chickness. Tsk.
Stamping Bella Uptown Girls – Chelsea and Lauren Love Sushi:
Love this stamp. It’s a lot of fun to colour and looks fantastic when you’re finished. There are some small detail areas, but they are quite easy and quick to colour. It’s just a really cute image to pop on a card for a friend, like Stephabella has done below.
Or a fun birthday card like the one Lesliebella created!
Stamping Bella Uptown Girls – Three Amigas:
This image just makes me feel so festive! Love these three party girls in their gorgeous dresses, topped off with Santa hats. They have to link arms and hang on, the combination of drinkies and those long legs in killer heels could be lethal.
Over To You!
Hopefully I’ve inspired you to add some of these stamps to your own stamp collection, or to stamp up any that you already have! Remember – the Crazy Tuesday offers are good for 24 hours only, today 2nd August 2016.

Hey all! Elaineabella here today with a fun new feature here at Blogabella shining a spotlight on some of the treasures in our collection of stamps. Last week we took a closer look at the Cool Chicks line, with all their crazy antics. Since they do have a habit of popping up everywhere to create mischief, you may even spot one or two of them today. 😉 If you missed that post click through and check it out: Spotlight On The Cool Chicks Rubber Stamps at Stamping Bella.
Spotlight On The Woodsies
Today I’d like to shine the spotlight on a wonderfully sweet collection of stamps that was introduced last year. They can be soft and sweet, but also a little quirky and humorous: THE WOODSIES.
We’ll start with my absolute favourite from the collection: Gilbert Has a Snack.
When I was little I had guinea pigs, and rabbits but the guinea pigs were my favourites. They are the sweetest little characters that chatter away, so I’ve got a total soft spot for Gilbert. Look at those little feet poking out under that watermelon slice. JUST LOOK! So much cute, I cannot. And the bee. I have a soft spot for bees too. I’m a sucker for cute, ok?
Here’s a card from yours truly. I just thought it was such a perfect image for a sweet little “just because” notecard. Now I’m feeling like I may need to colour little Gilbert again soon.
They are just so cute and roly-poly. They look like they’ve just been “pigging out” together and are taking a break hanging out under the flowers trying to recover. Yeah, we’re on to you Petunia & Penny.
Here’s a card from our fabulous Sandiebella. So pretty! As you can see, The Woodsies are perfect for both clean and simple and more detailed layered cards alike. Be bold with colour or go for soft and sweet, it’s all good!
Just what do those chicks think they look like? The second one from the left, with the big round glasses? He’s an idiot. Look at him. Absolutely clueless. You may remember him from last week’s post, where he’d wandered into Sage the Scientist’s lab. I imagine he wanders into a lot of situations, completely oblivious. Love it.
Here’s a gorgeous card by Stephabella. Perfect paper choices!
We also have some beautiful festive stamps in The Woodsies range. Petunia loves Christmas is my favourite, so cute with that wreath!
Petunia is really, really happy about Christmas. So happy she’s fallen asleep in a wreath. 😉
Look at this beautiful card by Kerribella. Love how she’s echoed the gorgeous bow in the image.
This is one of those images which is ridiculously cute PLUS there’s a little subtle humour. Take a closer look – that poor penguin being rolled into a snowball with his little feet waving in the air. The one on the right is just waddling along, all happy with his warm and festive hat. He’s got no worries, well, until he clocks that giant snowball headed his way. How many penguins are going to get taken out by that thing?! The two in front don’t care, they’re in loooooooove and they’ve got a huge scarf big enough for two. 😉
Love the non-traditional colours Shelabella chose for her card. Pink trees!

Hey all! Elaineabella here today with a fun new feature here at Blogabella. We have so many fantastic stamps in the Stamping Bella collection but sometimes it’s easy to overlook the little gems in the collection amongst all the excitement of new releases. This little feature is a way to celebrate either a complete line of stamps like “The Cool Chicks” or “The Wobbles” or “Uptown Girls” or “Tiny Townies”, or just a particular stamp we think needs another moment in the spotlight. If you’re new to Stamping Bella this should be a great feature to follow, to discover fun stamps you may not have seen, and to get inspiration for using them.
Spotlight On The Cool Chicks
Today I’d like to shine that spotlight on one of my own favourite lines within the collection: THE COOL CHICKS! Now, these little guys have their own section on the website, but they do not like to be restricted. They keep popping up all over the place, hanging out with the Tiny Townies, Bunny Wobbles, Woodsies, generally getting into mischief. They are so dramatic, so expressive and just too funny. They are also a breeze to colour!
Behind the scenes Emily and I share a lot of laughs about the crazy Cool Chicks. Seriously. Emily will send me an image to colour and I will marvel over the amount of character and expression in those tiny little loons. I love getting all of the Stamping Bella images to colour, but I definitely have a particular soft spot for those pesky little chicks.
Just look at those chicks. The one on the left is all “Oh Peyton you look amazing!”, the one in the middle on the right is SO embarrassed, and the one on the end flat out refuses to look. Because yes, look at her, she’s wearing a chicken costume. She is ridiculous and at the same time completely awesome. Admit it, you’ve been one or all of the chicks at some point with someone in your life. I know I’m often the one in the middle on the right. He’s just sick of it – he’s seen it before and he’s had enough. In fact, he’s going to rant about it in his journal.
Here’s a card from the fantastic Bellariffic Babes aka the Stamping Bella DT. Love giving their work another moment in the spotlight too – they totally deserve that!
Stamping Bella Peyton Loves to Pretend card by TracyMacabella!
The chicks, the sentiments, the whole package. Love it. So very perfect for adding to a planner when you’re having a spectacular FAIL of a day/week/month/year. Brilliant for sending a notecard to a friend who is having a rough time and who appreciates a little humour. The one flat out and face down on the floor? That’s me this week – I have labyrinthitis and I CANNOT EVEN. I could not, even if I wanted to. The one leaning against/sliding down the wall? That was me outside the supermarket the other day (or truth be told almost any time I go to the supermarket).
Some inspiration from the Babes:
Card by Sandiebella
Card by Shelabella
Card by Elaineabella
The Cool Chicks have also been adding a little mischief and humour to the festive range. Caroling Chicks is a definite favourite in this house, and recipients of my Christmas cards featuring this stamp last year found it delightful and hilarious. It’s the one on the far right that cracks me up – look at that expression, he’s had enough. Is it the carols? Is it the whole festive palaver? Did the antler hat on the chick in front just tip him over the edge? 😉
Love this card by Lesliebella which shows how perfect this stamp is for a clean and simple Christmas card. The image is so full of character and humour, just add a little colour and you’re good to go! The chicks are so quick and easy to colour that you could easily produce multiples.
Not to forget another fantastic festive image featuring the chicks: Trimming The Tree has them creating holiday mayhem with the baubles. The one on the left with his bum in the air? I can’t even.
Look how TracyMacabella used this one on a gorgeous Christmas tag:
Look at that chick with the huge glasses. He has NO idea what’s going on, he just wears those glasses to look smart, like his little friend with the safety goggles on. I think Sage is pretty much on her own with the experiments, or she’ll be cleaning up after the chicks. 😉
Check out Stephabella’s gorgeous and colourful card. Perfect!
Some of the chicks now come as little separate stamps in each set (see Tiny Townie Peyton Loves to Pretend). This means you can make up your own scenes with them or add a little Cool Chick drama wherever you like! I know they cheer me up whenever I see them. What other images do you think you could sneak a chick into with adorable/hilarious effect?
I’ve also created a little playlist on YouTube where I will add any videos I upload featuring the Cool Chicks stamps. Watch the current selection below or in HD over on YouTube.
NOTE: the Cool Chicks don’t have to be yellow, that’s just how I see them! You can colour your chicks whatever colour you like. Maybe they fell in some fluorescent paint, or dyed their feathers blue. Maybe one of Tiny Townie Sage’s experiments went wrong (probably because of the chicks…) and they ended up with weird colourful spots. Just have fun!
Hopefully I’ve inspired you to get those Cool Chicks stamped up and made into cards to help spread a little fun and laughter! I know I’d be delighted to get some colourful Cool Chick fun in the mail and I’m betting you know someone who could benefit from a little chicky cheer!
