Welcome to “The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge” Blog Hop. Kathy Racoosin from The Daily Marker wants to share her love of coloring with you. Today Kathy has assembled a blog hop to give your creativity a jump start with some of her favorite stamp companies & Online Card Class co owners.
The premise of “The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge” is to color something everyday even if it’s for five minutes. (However feel free to jump in or out as time permits). Any coloring medium is welcomed. Click here to find out where to share what you are coloring and join the encouraging community of happy colorists PLUS answers to other questions you may have.
To start at the beginning of the hop go to The Daily Marker. If you are coming from the blog of Neat & Tangled you are in the right place. Kathy has the full list if you encounter a broken link.
Mixing stamps from other companies can be a win win. Kathy used one of our beautiful women, ALMOST ELLA, from the Danielle Donaldson collection, and paired her with Concord & 9th butterfly stamp to make a fun and artistic card. Watercoloring with Tombow watercolor markers is something Kathy always considers relaxing.
Adding a some detail with a white gel pen and paint splatters finishes the card off. Kathy decided to add a last minute bow tied around her neck…. since a choker is in fashion right now. 🙂 Check out the other ladies in this beautiful collection.

I love to color. As a child my mom would break out the box of crayolas & lots of coloring books. It was so much fun. I still to this day have a box of 64 crayons and a few old style coloring books. I really enjoy papercraft & feel the therapeutic benefits daily! LOVE you butterfly gal :o]

Okay, this could only have been done by Kathy. My niece and I would so totally love this card. I love butterflies and my niece Bella loves anything pink. This is so creative and until I looked at it a few times, I realized that Almost Ella doesn’t have wings! How cool is that? I never thought of doing that with a stamp and I know only Kathy would think of doing this. I’ll have to watch the video to see how she did it. What an amazing card! Love your images. Loved the way you can easily change the look of the girl by using different style for her make up.
I wanna be Kathy when I grow up! She makes the most of every image she colors and is my coloring role model. She did a magnificent job with the Stamping Bella stamp and then combining it with a Concord & 9th stamp. They look like they were made to go together (another of her many talents).

Kathy is the best! I have learned so much from her, Just watching her keep working the butterfly was just amazing! What a great idea! I never used to like colouring until I discovered the Copic markers..I’m better with the colouring solid images with minimal shading..The stampingbella stamps are perfect for colouring. 🙂

I love coloring, Sometimes life gets in the way and I forget the relaxing and calming effects of it. The 30 day Challenge gets me back into making it a priority – even if for a few minutes!

I really liked how Kathy combined stamps from different collections and makers – this is truly inspiring and provides a lot of flexibility. I always tend to stay with the same maker, but need to learn to stretch my stamps.
