Hello everyone! This week for my Inspiration Post, I have done something a bit different to feature one of our latest stamps, a journal page! I find playing with paints and stamps in my journal so relaxing, so I thought I would share one.
I chose to use the beautiful Uptown Girl Greta Loves To Garden, coloured her in Copics and fussy cut her.
To create my background, I applied acrylic paint with a brayer for my sky, and then drew on top of my sky with acrylic markers and Posca pens. I added a few touches of pencil here and there to add a bit more contrast to my background. For the sentiment, I stamped the word “autumn” from the Autumn Sentiment set and die cut the word Hello. I then added a piece of washi tape and my Uptown Girl on it.
Copic markers used:
Skin: E000, 00, 11, 15, R20
Hair: E37, 59, YR23
Pink: RV10, 32, 34
Purple: BV08, 13, 17
Carrots: Y35, YR04, 07
Tomatoes: R22, 24, 27
Leaves: BG72, 78, G14, 17, 28, YG17
Happy stamping and crafting!

Your journal page is so colorful and pretty. I love the different mediums and textures. You color beautifully. I also like Greta, because like me, she is a gardener. I love when my Fall garden produces yummy veggies like beets and carrots.
Thank you so much for your super kind words! I love Greta too, and like you, I’m a gardener ;)!
