Score the 9.5″ x 7″ piece of card on the 9.5″ side at 1″, 2-7/8″, 5-1/4″ and 7-1/8″
Turn 90 degrees and score at 1-7/8″ from each end.
Cut away the top and bottom panels of the 1″ section. Cut down the top and bottom panels of the next section (1-7/8″) to anything between 1/2″ and 3/4″. Cut all of the score lines from the top and bottom to the intersecting score line.
Fold in the tabs of the other 1-7/8″ sections, apply adhesive to both.
Fold up the box and adhere the sides
Apply adhesive on the inside of the remaining 2-3/8″ sections, fold up and adhere to the sides.
Taper in the edges of the 0.5/0.75″ tabs.
Adhere the paper pieces to the outside of the box.
Stamp one of the bats from Oddball Batty Duo and colour using your preferred medium.
Fussy cut around the outline.
Adhere the small piece of black card and the paper layer together.
Adhere to the front of the box.
Adhere the bat to the box front using foam tape. Apply a dot of glue to the end of the cherry stalk and glue down.
Stamp a Halloween sentiment onto white card, cut out using a pennant die. Before removing the die, ink with carved pumpkin distress oxide ink
Adhere to the top of the box.
Fill the tic tac box with halloween candies and place inside the box.

This is a very cute treat box… I love the bats. I live in Austin, Texas … we have thousands of bats that stay under our Congress Street bridge from ~ April – end-Sept./early-Oct. – and they fly out as soon as the sun goes down, ~8:30/9 PM, every night. Thousands of people come out to watch each night.
This little bat reminds me of those nights. Great coloring and a wonderful little box of treats to give to a friend. Thank you for sharing your creativity.
