Sandie’s got us covered for making those little Christmas extras!
How to:
On the 5.5″ side, score each of them at 2.5″ and 5″
On the 5″ side, score each of them at 0.5″
On the bottom, remove the section below the 0.5″ scoreline as shown below. Taper the edges of the remaining section and the 0.5″ section on the right side.
Apply double sided tape to the outside of the long 0.5″ piece.
Remove the tape liner and fold the paper in half, lining up the edges.
Apply double sided tape to the inside of the smaller 0.5″ section and fold upward to make a pouch.
Repeat these steps for all 3 pouches.
Cut a piece of contrasting paper approx 3″ x 6.5″. Centre it over the pouch and then fold it around each edge to crease it. Use the bone folder to sharpen the crease.
Apply double sided tape to the inside of one end
Remove the tape liner, slide the pouch into the band and adhere the band to the pouch. Apply double sided tape to the inside of the other end of the band and to the outside of the end stuck to the pouch.
Remove the tape liner and fold the band around, pressing down firmly on the tape.
Repeat for all the pouches.
Cut 3 tags approx 3″ tall x 1.75″ wide. Cut 3 scalloped circles approx 2.25″ in diameter and 3 stitched circles approx 2″ in diameter.
Adhere the stitched circles to the scalloped circles, and the scalloped circles to the tags.
Punch a hole in the top of each of the tags.
Thread some white twine through each of the holes in the tags and set aside to work on the Chicks.
Stamp the Chicks onto white card and colour with your desired medium. There are three different Chicks but I chose to use just two of them.
Cut the images out using the coordinating dies, or fussy cut with a precision scissors.
Adhere one of the Chicks to each of the tags and then adhere the tags to the front of the pouches using 3D foam tape.
Stamp the sentiment for the back of each of the pouches and cut it out using a stitched rectangle die.
Insert a hot chocolate sachet and a candy cane into each of the pouches to make a cute gift for work colleagues, friends or family.

What a neat idea for that little something that has a BIG impact. Maybe in a basket for the kid’s sledding party as a takeaway. Thanks for the great ideas and projects. Thanks for the really clear instructions and photos. Thanks for all you do for us. Happy Thanksgiving.
Adorable! Where did you find the Cocoa packets?..
I always look forward to what Sandiebella will come up with. She never disappoints! So adorable!
