Thursday with Sandiebella: Create an Oddball Snowman Tic Tac Holder

I guess it is about time to make a start on those festive projects… As always, Sandie has our collective back!

Oddball Snowman Tic Tac Holder

Supplies:

Oddball Snowman rubber stamp
White card
Paper
Craft knife
Adhesive
Ribbon
Embellishments

How to:

Stamp Oddball Snowman onto white card and colour using your desired medium.

Using a craft knife, cut out the bottom section of the snowman. Set aside.

Cut a piece of white card measuring 4.5″ x 7 3/8″. Score at 3.25″ and 4 1/8″

Cut two pieces of patterned paper measuring 3 1/8″ x 4 3/8″ and one piece measuring 0.75″ x 4 3/8″ for the outside back and front, and the spine. Adhere one of the paper pieces to the front of the holder.

Position the snowman over the front. Do not stick down. Using a pencil, draw around the cut out hole.

Remove with a craft knife.

Cut two pieces of patterned paper measuring 3 1/8″ x 4 3/8″ and one piece measuring 0.75″ x 4 3/8″ for the inside back and front, and the spine

Place one of the inside papers under the hole and mark with a pencil. Remove the section with a craft knife.

Cut a piece of acetate measuring approx 3″ x 3″

Adhere to the inside of the front cover.

Adhere the piece of paper with the hole cut out over the acetate. Adhere the rest of the panels down.

How it looks from the frot.

Trim down the image to approx 2 7/8″ x 41/8″ and adhere to a piece of white card measuring 3″ x 4.25″. Use a craft knife to cut away the bottom section again.

Apply some double sided adhesive centered vertically the edge of the front and back cover.

Cut two pieces of ribbon measuring approx 10″ each and adhere one each to the front and back.

Using foam tape, adhere the image down over the ribbon on the front. Adhere the paper pieces to the spine and back cover.

Adhere the tic tac box inside using a 1/8″ foam tape. Ensure it’s centered behind the snowman. Close over the front and tie the ribbon to secure. Embellish as desired.
