Stamping Bella: Thursday with Sandiebella - Create an Apron Card

Supplies:
White card
Patterned papers
Oval Die
Ruler and pencil
Scissors
Adhesive and foam tape/dots
Enamel dots
Dies for embellishment
How to:
Cut a piece of card measuring 4.5″ x 11.5″. Fold in half to make a 4.5″ x 5.75″ card base.

Measure in 1″ across the top, and down 2.75″ on each side, of the card base and mark with a pencil.

Place an oval die to the pencil marks and trace around it. Repeat on the other side.

Cut along the trace lines to create the top of the apron shape.

Cut a piece of patterned paper measuring 4 3/8″ x 5 5/8″

Postion it on the card base and use the pencil to trace along the top sides of the apron

Trim the patterned paper about 1/8″ inside the trace lines.

For the pocket, cut one piece of white card measuring 4 3/8″ x 2.5″ and a piece of coordinating patterned paper measuring 4.24″ x 2 3/8″. Adhere them together.

Apply wet glue or a narrow double sided tape to each side and the bottom of the pocket.

Adhere the pocket to the front of the card base.

The pocket can be used for a gift card, or cash, and/or mini baking utensils/cutlery.

Stamp Curvy Girl Eats Cake onto white card and colour using your preferred medium. On this card, the image was coloured using Copic markers.

Use the Curvy Girl Eats Cake CUT-IT-OUT Die to cut out the image. Alternatively, fussy cut with a precision scissors.

Stamp the sentiment onto white card and cut out using a pennant die. Trim the pennant down so that the straight end is under where the image is going to be. Do not stick down the image yet.

Open up the card and punch a hole on each side of the top of the apron.

Cut a small piece of white ribbon, approx. 5-6″ in length. You will also need two eyelets/rivets

Thread the ribbon through the holes and then insert the eyelets/rivets.

Set the eyelets/rivets and trim away any excess ribbon.

Adhere the image down onto the front of the card using 3D foam tape/dots.
