Thursday with Sandiebella: Create a TriFold Angle Card

Time for another awesome step by step with Sandiebella, this week featuring the amazing new Oddball Alice in Wonderland stamp set!

Tri Fold Angle Card

White card
Designer paper
Scoring board and bone folder
Pencil and ruler
Tag, scalloped oval, stitched oval and border dies.
White string/twine
Adhesive, 1/8″double sided tape and foam tape/dots.
How to:
To make the card base, cut a sheet of A4 white card, on the long side at 11.25″. With the card in landscape position, measure up on one side at 4.5″ and the other side at 6.5″ and mark with a pencil.

Cut diagonally, from the 4.5″ across to the 6.5″.

Score the white card base at 3.75″ and 7.5″

Fold on the score lines and crease well with a bone folder.

To make the white card layers, cut 6 pieces of white card measuring 3.5″ x 7″. Position a piece of card onto the card base and mark at the top with a pencil. Cut diagonally, about 1/8″ below the pencil marks.

Repeat for all the panels, front and back.

Cut 6 pieces of patterned paper 3.25″ wide and tall enough to fit the panel it’s going on.

As with the white card, use the card base to mark each side and cut diagonally to get the angle. Adhere all the paper down, front and back and set aside to work on the stamps.

Stamp Alice onto some white card and colour using your desired medium. Use the co-ordinating die to cut her out, or fussy cut if you don’t have the die.

Cut a scalloped oval approx 4.5″ tall and a stitched oval approx 4.25″ tall. Adhere them together and then adhere them to the front of the card base.

Cut 3 tags, approx 4″ x 2.25″. Stamp the accessory stamps on the bottom of each tag.

Colour the images on the tags.

To make a tag pocket inside the card, cut a piece of designer paper 2.75″ x 3.25″.  Apply the 1/8″ double sided tape on each side and the bottom,

Adhere the pocket to the inside back panel, adding a border if desired. Thread the white twine though the top of the three tags and insert two of the tags into the pocket.

Adhere the third tag to the ovals using foam tape/dots.

Finally, adhere Alice to the tag using foam tape/dots. Embellish as desired.
