Stamp It Saturday: Using Stamp Sets with Two Image Sizes

We’ve got some fantastic inspiration from Sandiebella today to get your weekend crafting off to a good start!

Stamping Bella - Stamp It Saturday - Using Stamp Sets with Two Image Sizes!

Using Stamp Sets with Two Image Sizes

Hi all! Today I’m sharing some projects I made using both sizes of stamps in the Squidgies collection. Most of the Squidgy stamp sets come with a standard size stamp and an identical mini stamp – ideal for creating coordinating card and gift projects.

These stamps have so many possibilities and uses, here are a few ideas:

  • Card and Gift Box sets
  • Card and Tag sets
  • Journaling
  • Stamping inside your cards
  • Stamping on envelopes
  • Stamping in your planners

Aren’t they cute as a matching set?

The gift box measures 2.75″ x 2.75″ and is perfect for little treats, or jewelry.

Card and Tall Candy Box Set

This set doesn’t have a coordinating die but you can fussy cut around the booth if so desired.

Card and Gift Tag Set

With larger sentiments, I like to stamp them on the inside as a verse or greeting.

Stamping inside the card:

Another fun way to use both sizes of stamp in the set is to use the standard size on the front of the card and then stamp the smaller one, uncoloured, on the inside of your card. How fun to open a card and have the same image on the inside bringing your design together. Such a nice, finished look for a special card. You could also stamp the smaller version (uncoloured) on the front of the envelope.

All of these projects and ideas can be also be made using the Danielle Donaldson girls, which come in sets of 2 identical images, one standard size and one mini, plus sentiments. They can be purchased separately, or you can nab the whole I WANT IT ALL collection, saving 15% of the price

  1. I especially like the idea of using the larger stamp on the card and the smaller one on a gift tag. Great ideas you shared. Thank you.

  2. I love the idea of using the smaller one inside the card. So much fun for the recipient! It adds a little something (pun intended!) extra to the design. Love all the wonderful ideas today!

  3. Thanks for sharing…I’ve been looking for ideas for the smaller stamps…these are great! 🙂

  4. I see a squidgie wearing my favorite color, yellow, and doing what I love to do, dance. Could she be any better? I love how you used to 2 stamps to make some beautiful cards and other things. I have to do this too with some of my stamps. Thanks for all the ideas.
