Hey everyone! Time for another Stamp It Saturday post, and this week our fabulous Sandiebella is showing us how we can easily create dimensional images by stamping and layering using the Paper Tole decoupage technique!
Stamp the image multiple times.
Decide how many layers you will do, and colour the parts of each image that you will be using. Once you have them coloured, fussy cut the pieces out.
I needed Petunia’s arm so I used an off-cut of blending card and stamped just that part of the image.
Cut out all the pieces you will be layering up. There is no need to colour the bottom image, but you can do so if desired.
When you have all the pieces cut out, take a black marker and run it around all the edges. to replace any black lines that may have been cut away.
Start with the first layer, applying 3D foam dots to the back
Adhere it down, over the stamped image.
Add the next layer – in this case, the dresses and arms.
Add the last layer – Petunia’s arm and the bow.

That is so asorable. Love the 3D effect on it.
Oh, how cute is this. I always forget about layering like this. Thanks for the reminder, with this excellent tutorial.
Hi Sandie! I enjoy all of your tutorials so much! What a cute 3D card, and the sentiment is lovely!
Love the dimensional look!
I’ve never done layering before but I have used the pop dots to make the paper or image stand out. I like how you did this though and I will have to try it sometime. Someone always comes up with something new or maybe old for us to try that we haven’t done before.
Oh this is great! I’ve never done this, but looks interesting! I just may give it a try! Thanks for sharing! 🙂
