Hi!
Tamara here with you. I’m so so in love with the new (family) Curvy Girls. I have them all! For today’s post I made a Mother’s Day card using Curvy Girl holding hands. I stamped my rubber stamp using Archival Ink – Jet black on 300g HP Fabriano watercolour paper and then coloured it up using Distress Ink pads.
I really like the flowers they are both holding. They might be peonies, which are one of my favourite flowers.
Distress Ink pads colours used on this card:
skin: vintage photo
cheeks: worn lipstick
hair: antique linen, walnut stain
shirt, dress: speckled egg, hickory smoke, black soot
trousers, flowers: victorian velvet, black soot
leaves: rustic wilderness
I wanted to do something different on my card, so I stamped the sentiment on a paper, then cut away the first line. I cut it apart and changed the word mother with die cut letters. I cut each letter twice so I got a bit of a 3d effect. I didn’t want to over decorate the card, because the image is so so pretty, so I only added a small tag and a bow with a brad.
That’s all from me today.
Stay safe. Hugs, t.
