Hi!
Tamara here with you. Today I have a Birthday card for you. I bought this stamp quite some time ago but I was terrified of colouring those dogs. I can do cats but dogs?? I finally decided it’s time to do it and honestly it was so much fun. Ok, I know that the biggest dog kind of looks like a poodle. LOL
As usual I coloured this image with Distress Ink pads and added some pastel papers. These are actually papers from a Baby set, but look how perfect they are with this image.
This gorgeous image is called Daphne and her dogs.
Distress Ink pad colours used:
skin: vintage photo
cheeks: worn lipstick
shirt: victorian velvet, black soot
pants: bundled sage, black soot
dogs: black soot, ground espresso, gathered twigs
That’s it for today!
Hugs, t.
This is so cute, and the colors so soft.
You did an awesome job coloring the dogs and the scene you created is heartwarming. I too love the soft colors. Nothing is overpowering.
Just stopping by to say that I love how you were able to make distress inks look like watercolor. It’s adorable!
Your card made me smile and I could almost feel the warm dog hugs through the picture. I love your soft use of inks and the addition of the pastel hearts. Please let me know which stamp you used for the lady. Is it one of the new releases coming out next week? Your beautiful card is wonderful inspiration. Thank you for sharing!??
Love your work. May I ask what size brush ( paint ), are you using ? The blending is incredible.
