Hi!
Tamara here with you. For today’s post I made a card featuring Pamela the Poinsettia. I love this image since I first saw her on one of my crafty friend’s card. I coloured her up in no-lines technique and I really, really like how it turned out. Let me tell you a little story about my failed Poinsettia shopping. First I bought two and one of them died. Then I went shopping with my daughter and they just got new delivery of pretty poinsettias and we bought one. A few hours after arriving home I remembered that we forgot the plant in my car, so now I’m back to having one. meh ….
Image was coloured up using Distress Ink pads on 300g HP Fabriano watercolour paper. Colours used are:
skin: vintage photo
hair: antique linen, walnut stain
dress, flower, shoes: barn door, fired brick, peeled paint, forest moss
I coloured my die cut Poinsettia and those two hearts using the same colours as for the dress. Papers used are from various paper collections and brands.
I wish you all Merry Christmas. Stay safe and healthy!
Hugs, t.
