Hi!
It’s Tamara here with you with my Sunday’s post. I’ve finally (really) started with this year’s Christmas cards. Stamping Bella has soooo many awesome Christmas stamps that it’s not that easy to choose which one to use first. I’ve had this shaker snow globe idea in my head for some time now. I wanted to make it super easy, no extra dies used or anything. Only die used was nested circles for the glass part, other than that it’s all hand cut.
Image used is called Rosie and Bernie in a Bus. This is my first Rosie and Bernie stamp used and I love it. Girl and a Unicorn together?! YES please!!! Little confession … I just got a small box of new Rosie and Bernie stamps (blush).
Image was coloured up using Distress Inks pads on 300g HP watercolour paper.
Distress Ink pads used:
skin: vintage photo
unicorn: black soot, seedles preserves, tattered rose
scarfs: barn door
bus: black soot, broken china, fossilized amber, spiced marmalade
tree: peeled paint, forest moss
Sentiment comes from a different stamp set called: The penguin on a reindeer on a polar bear rubber stamp.
I added lots of pretty stuff to the shaker part: clear diamonds, glitter, red candy, snowflakes, sequins …
That’s all from me today.
Hugs, t.
