it’s SUNDAY with TAMIBELLA!

www.stampingbella.com: rubber stamp used: THERE THERE TINY TOWNIE. card by Tamara Potocnik

Hi!

Tamara here with you. For today’s post I made a very clean and simple card. I love this image, it has such a powerful message that it doesn’t need any extra embellishments, flowers, die cuts … There are often situations in our lives when we need someone to hold our hand or just to be there for us. Giving a card with this image (and sentiment) or sending it to someone in need can really make their day.

Image is called There There Tiny Townie and it comes with the sentiment “Everything will be ok”.

Image was stamped with Archival Ink – Jet black on Langton 300g HP watercolour paper and then coloured up using Distress ink pads.
Distress Ink colours used:
skin: vintage photo
cheeks: worn lipstick
hair: antique linen, walnut stain
pink outfit: victorian velvet, black soot
blue outfit: stormy sky, black soot
shirt: black soot
letter, envelope: old letter, black soot
heart: barn door

Have a great Sunday!

Hugs, t.

  1. Tamibella,
Your card is heart – warming.
The soft colors make the signature to your cards meaning, of love & compassion.
In general, another piece of art.

  2. I am amazed and so curious how you achieve your beautiful coloring with Distress inks. I have all the inks but have never colored with them like you. Do you have a video showing how you color with them?

    1. Hi Candace!
Thank you so much! I don’t have a video but I do have a tutorial with lots of pictures on my blog on how to colour with Distress inks.
      Hugs, t.

      1. I have been on your blog and you have lots of beautiful finished projects, but I don’t see any pictures showing your coloring progress. Someday maybe you will be able to make a video of you coloring! I think you are absolutely amazing! Thanks.
