Hiya sistahs.. just took some pics of what I am up to.. aside from LIVING in an arena LOL.. and packing orders, here are some shots I took
Here’s a journal page I made with LOTS of collage and vintage ephemera.. in the bottom corner I wanted to play with tracing paper, stamping and the effects of both togethah… and I LOVE IT!! I love the “seamlessness” of it.. In the spread below, I used LITTLE BIRDIE Jane.. I just love that stamp. The next thing I am gonna play with is colouring on the tracing paper.. which should be yummalish. What I also love about the tracing paper is that it will show all the layers below. Double Yum. Have you ever tried stamping on tracing paper sistahs?
It’s snowing here in Toronto today and I couldn’t resist taking a pic of little frankieLICIOUS.. and the snow on his chinny chin chin.. I could SMOOSH him!
And last but not least, as the kidlets were getting ready for school, I put together a yummy chicken soup in the crock pot. I’ve been watching Rachael Ray lately and she “told me’ (lol) that putting in parmesan rind into DA soup adds an amazing nutty and rich flavour. Well, don’t ask what I had to do to get this rind. I went my local little specialty grocer with a cheese counter.. OF COURSE there was a lineup. finally when it was my turn I whispered my request because it sounds so odd to me “do you have PARMESAN RIND AKA what you throw in the garbage” available? LOL.. well she held up her finger and cut one off for me.. she wrapped it up and said “put it in your purse and let me know how it tastes “.. LOL.. I quickly ran out with my most PRIZED scrap. And off it went into my soup. I just tasted the broth and I can already taste the difference. It’s OUTSTANDING! Every couple of hours I stick my spoon in and slurp (I can cuz I am alone and don’t have to teach manners when I am alone..LOL).. and I add more chicken powder, more spices and adjust. My kidlets LOVE this as a meal with a good juicy roll.
What are all da SISTAHS up to?

Oh that sounds so good. I will have to try it.
I love making soup!
Your puppy is so cute with snow! Would love to have snow for Christmas. I’m in Florida and it’s been mid to high 80’s. Warm at home making soup in the snowy weather – couldn’t be better. I just found your site few days ago and love your stuff. Ordered some stamps too of course. Thanks for a fun place.
