Hello Everyone! How are you today? My name is Kathy Racoosin and I am happy to be back on the Stamping Bella Blog today.

I have a few tips to share with you today. For example, what to do if you get ink on your cardstock … do you stamp the image again? Not me 🙂

For my card I used this sweet little girl from the stamp set called, LITTLE BITS APPLE PICKING ,  I also used this FALL BACKDROP.

I love all of the Stamping Bella background stamps. Today I was short on time so I cut this background down. The big smear on my misti should have been wiped off before I stamped this but, I thought it would be ok. If you choose to work with the mess up it can work to your benefit by stretching your creativity.

In my video I show you how I added texture to the dirt road. I like that the large ink spot determines where my images go and I don’t have to figure out the best place.

Sometimes it’s nice to just cut out an image. To make it easy to cut the scarf out I cut off the fringe. A pattern was added to her scarf and shimmer to the apples. I always enlarge the eyes and add eyelashes.

This photo shows all that shine.

The stamp sets I was working with didn’t have any sentiments so I decided to make my own. I could have typed it on my computer, print it, & cut it out … but, I opted to go rouge lol. Using a black fine tip sharpie marker I drew my own talk bubble and wrote inside it. Super easy and speedy!

Thanks for your visit today and have a lovely weekend! Hugs, Kathy Racoosin from The Daily Marker

  1. Hi Kathy,
Such a cute card! Your coloring is amazing, as always. The shading on the apples and the texture of the road make everything pop! Love the way you did the sentiment. Who wouldn’t pick that cutie pie?!

  2. That’s such a lovely card with an amazing job on the coloring, as always with Kathy !! Thanks for the tips.

  3. What a good idea, cover up the ink stain. You were going to do that anyway, right? I like how you colored everything but then I always do. Thanks for showing us what you did. I love it!
