I’m a day late with this post, unfortunately time just got away from me yesterday. So better late than never, here is my latest DT Thursday post. Keep reading for a fun double pocket card and video!
All month I’m recreating some of Sandie’s DT Thursday step by step projects in my own style, with videos.
Today I followed Sandie’s step by step instructions to create a Double Pocket Card. This turned out really well, and Sandie’s instructions were a breeze to follow. Here’s the card:

Now watch me put the card together in the video below or in HD over on YouTube.
NOTE: I have not included the colouring footage in this video. I will be uploading and sharing the colouring process on Monday for Marker Geek Monday, as I used coloured pencils to colour the image, and so many of you have asked to see more coloured pencil work. I thought it would be a great opportunity to give you a close up look at the colouring and chat a little about the process.

This card is so cute and I love the background paper. It looks like bubbles. I love the coloring and I wasn’t sure what you used to color it. I love that you used colored pencils. I am liking using colored pencils, water colors and my twinkling H20’s, gel pens, markers although I don’t have a lot of Copics, and crayons. I love to stamp and I love to color. I can’t wait to see how you colored this one on Marker Geek Monday. You are doing an awesome job!
I really enjoyed your video. You gave clear & simple directions. Thank you. Can’t wait to make this card myself.
