DT Thursday time! Sandiebella has an utterly gorgeous step by step make for us today.
Supplies:
For the base of the album:
Score the 5.5″ x 8″ piece of card a 0.5″, 1.5″ and 2.5″
Fold the 5.5″ x 8″ mountain valley, as shown.
Fold and crease the scorelines on the 5.5″ x 11″ piece of card.
Apply adhesive to the outside of the 0.5″ section
Adhere to the inside left end of the 5.5″ x 11″ piece
This is what it should look like
For the panels:
Adhere all the patterned paper pieces to their corresponding white card pieces.
Adhere the panels to the inside, DO NOT adhere anything to the 0.5″ section yet.
Adhere all the panels to the outside sections.
This is how the inside should look
For the handle:
Adhere them together.
Roll the handle over your fingers to curve it, then make a crease approx 3/8″ in from each end.
On the outer 0.5″ top section of the album base, centre the handle and use a pokey tool or fine scissors to poke a hole through the handle and the album base.
Repeat on both ends of the handle and use brads to secure it in place.
Now take the last panel and adhere it over the brads.
Stamp the Love Story Squidgies onto white card and colour with desired medium.
Use the coordinating CUT-IT-OUT Die, or fussy cut around the image
Cut the CELEBRATE word die from white and kraft card, and some of the Snapshot Polaroid from kraft and white card and coordinating patterned papers. Cut a selection of tags, circles, borders, and other shapes to embellish the album.
For the front of the album:
Adhere them together.
Adhere the 2 CELEBRATE cut outs together, slightly offsetting the white over the kraft.
Adhere the 4.75″ square panel to the front flap of the album and add layers using the cut outs, as desired. Adhere the Squidgy couple using 3D foam tape/dots.
Stamp the sentiment into the centre of one of the smaller circles.
Layer the sentiment onto larger circles and adhere to the front (the panel you can see when you lift the front flap)
To complete the album, decorate the inside panels as desired, using die cuts and other embellishments.
