Hey everyone, it’s time for DT Thursday here on the Stamping Bella blog. This week Sandiebella has another fab décor project for you to recreate featuring recently our released Petunia and Her Miracle stamp set! Click on through for the full step by step guide to this project.
Apply adhesive to the front of the large chipboard heart and adhere to the back of the patterned paper. Use a craft knife to cut it out.
Using a crop-a-dile, or similar, punch a hole at the top and bottom as shown.
Cover the small chipboard heart and punch a hole at the top only
Stamp your image onto white card.
Colour using your medium of choice.
Cut the image out using a circle die.
Cut a larger circle to mat the image.
Embellish large heart and thread some twine through the top hole
Make a knot to secure it.
Stamp the sentiment onto some light coloured patterned paper, or white card.
Cut out using a tag die.
Cut a second tag from white card, and a hole reinforcer. You can also use an eyelet.
Assemble the tag and thread some twine through.
Position the image and tag on the heart. DO NOT adhere.
Holding the tag in place, flip the image over and apply 3D dot on the back of the image, around the tag. This will leave a space for the tag to slide in and out.
Adhere the image down.
Slip the tag into place.
Thread some twine through the top hole on the small heart, and the bottom hole of the large heart and tie a knot to secure it at the desired length.
Feed the knot down to the back of the small heart and use tape to secure it in place.
Embellish the bottom heart as desired.
Hopefully I’ve inspired you to sit down and try your hands at this lovely project.
