Cut score lines to the point where they connect to the score lines from the other side.
You will be cutting four score lines, two on one side and two on the opposite side.
Taper the edges of the tabs.
Pre-fold all score lines. Apply some double sided tape to the outside corners of the scored tabs.
Tuck the tabs into the inside of the box, adhering to the adjacent sides. Repeat for the other 3″ x 3″ square to make the box top and bottom.
Score the acetate piece at every 1 15/16″. To do this easily, move the acetate to the 1/16″ across before scoring each section. (move it to 1/16″ on the board, then score at 2″ – move the 2″ score line to 2 1/6″, then score at 4″.. and so on.)
Apply a narrow strip of double sided tape along the bottom of the acetate, and on the small tab at the side.
Remove the tape backing, on the small tab, and adhere to the inside of the box
Remove the tape backing from the bottom of the acetate and insert it into the box bottom you made previously.
Use a bone folder, inside the box, to burnish well.
Cut four strips of patterned paper 1 7/8″ x 3/8″
Cut another strip of paper measuing 3″ x 3/8″ and adhere it over the side of the box where you can see the double sided tape.
Cut four strips of patterned paper 1 7/8″ x 3/8″ and one piece measuring 1 7/8″ x 1 7/8″
Again, adhere one each of the small strips to each side of the box top, and adhere the 1 7/8″ square to the top of the box.
Place the box top on the acetate.
Stamp the image onto white card.
Colour with your desire medium.
Cut the image out using a circle die and mat it onto a larger circle in contrasting cards.
Take a length of ribbon and tie it around the box, from bottom to top.
Cut a piece of white card measuring 1 7/8″ square and adhere it over the ribbon at the bottom of the box, to hold it in place.
Fill the box with treats
