We’ve got another awesome DT Thursday project from Sandiebella for you today! Enjoy!
Enamel dots or other embellishments
For those of you with a Silhouette you can find a free cut file for this card HERE. It will be available to download for one week.
Move in 1/2″ each with each line, each time scoring down 1″, as shown below (see diagram)
Using a ruler to guide, cut 1.5″ across the bottom of each step from the bottom left, to the top right of the step underneath it.
Once you have all the scoring and cutting done, mountain fold the score lines closest to the left edge, and valley fold the scorelines on the right.
Push the steps in from the left and fold until they are flat. Crease with a bone folder and pull the steps back into position.
To make the layers of the card –
Adhere all the patterned paper pieces onto the white card pieces.
Glue down the side panels onto the card base
Adhere the squares down on to the steps. If you don’t have letters and numbers you can leave them blank or add flat embellishments.
Side view
Stamp your image onto white card and colour using your desired medium.
Fussy cut the image.
Cut out any die shapes you want to add. For this card I used pierced ovals and stitched stars.
Adhere the oval shape to right side of the card using 3D foam, tucking the stars in behind before sticking it down
Stamp the sentiment onto a smaller oval.
Adhere the sentiment on the left side of the card, using 3D foam.
Embellish with enamel dots, or other embellishments.
