Time for DT Thursday with another fun card making project from Sandiebella to help us get through to the weekend! Click on through for Sandiebella’s fab step by step tutorial showing how to create a gorgeous Circle Easel Card featuring one of our fabulous Edna stamps!
Taking the scalloped circle Die, which should be larger than the card base, cut out 2 pieces from white card. Using the same die as you used for the base, cut another circle from white card. Finally, cut 2 pieces of patterned paper using a circle die slightly smaller than the on used for the base.
Score the top half of the card base across the centre.
Fold down.
Cut the 2 pieces of patterned paper in half
Layer up one scalloped circle, the white circle and one half of each of the patterned papers, as shown.
Taking one of the remaining pieces of patterned paper, adhere to the bottom half of the inside of the base.
Apply liquid glue to the bottom half of the front, up to the scoreline.
Adhere the layered panel to the front
Apply liquid glue to the back of the card base
Lining up the notches, adhere the second scalloped circle to the back.
Stamp the sentiment on the inside of the card, on the patterned paper.
Cut a piece of card approx 1/2″ x 3″ and a piece of patterned paper slightly smaller. Adhere the patterned paper to the white card strip.
Apply foam tape/dots to the back
Adhere the strip just above the sentiment. When the card is open, the front tucks in behind this strip to keep it open.
Stamp the image onto white card.
Colour with your desired medium and use the coordinating die to cut it out.
Embellish the front of the card as desired, then pop Edna on using 3D foam tape/dots.
Hopefully I’ve inspired you to sit down and try your hands at this lovely project.

I am in love with your card! Your tutorial is fantastic! Love the scalloped circle too! TFS!
Your tutorials are the best, and Edna is fabulous! Can’t wait to give this a whirl!
You make the tutorial so easy to understand, love the card.
How very clever and sweet! Great step-by-step directions too. Thanks!
Love this card???
This is so cute!!
Great tutorial! Can’t wait to try it!
Oh what a great card! I have never made an easel card! Thanks for sharing you technique!
Adorableeeeee!!!!
I love how you made this card. Unfortunately, I don’t own a die cutter so I can’t try this, although I can make a circle card if I used a circle something like a glass or plastic cover, something like that. I always make square cards but a round one would be fun. I might have to try that on some scrap paper. I even have scissors that can make that cut so I want to try that. If I do it, and use one of your stamps, I will post it. Thanks for the idea!
