Wonderful Wednesday at Stamping Bella with Kelly Latevola: Gnome on a Swing & Zig Clean Color (with video)

Wonderful Wednesday at Stamping Bella with Kelly Latevola!

Hello Crafters! It’s Kelly Latevola here and I’m so excited to be back for week two as the Stamping Bella guest designer!

Last week I asked what you guys would like to see and several of you asked about Zig Clean Color markers. While they aren’t my go to I do love them for vivid backgrounds so today I paired them with the new Gnome on a Swing stamp to make a scene.
It’s another one layer card haha. While it’s not all I ever make I do love the look of a bit of dimension on a flat panel. I started by masking my border and stamping this happy little gnome.
I prefer to add my zigs directly to my paper and then blend them out with water, especially for a background. While doing this card I did learn that sometimes just using the marker without water does have it’s place.

Even though I had to play around to get the dimension I wanted I’m still happy with the way it turned out! I’m not going to be trading in my Copics anytime soon but it’s definitely fun to push outside of my comfort zone.

    Love your video’s, they are always so informative but fun, happy ,chatty like we’ve known each other ages and that amuses me. I’ve recently discovered this company and now have a list a mile long of images I just want to colour x
