Supplies:

White card
Valentine themed papers
Scoring board and bone folder
Embossing tool
Pennant die
Chocolate hearts.

How to:

Cut one piece of white card measuring 6.5″ x 9 1/8″
Score on the 9″ side at 4″ and 5 1/8″

Fold on the scorelines and crease with a bone folder.

To decorate, cut :

White card:
(4x)  3 7/8″ x 6 3/8″ (set one aside)
(1x)  1″ x 6 3/8″
(1x)  7/8″ x  6 1/8″
(2x)  7/8″ x 3 5/8″
Patterned paper:
(3x)  3.75″ x 6.25″
(1x)  7/8″ x 6.25″
(1x)  0.75″ x  6″
(2x)  0.75″ x 3.5″
Adhere the patterned paper to the white card. Add extra as desired.

Adhere the panels to the front, back, inside left of the cover, and the outside spine.

Set the cover aside.

To make the box, cut a piece of card measuring 10.25″ x 7.75″.

Score at 1″ and 2″ on all 4 sides.

Cut away the outer 1″ tabs and tape all the edges slightly.

Adhere the panels you made previously to one long side and the two ends.

Apply double sided tape to the outside of the 1″ tabs.

Apply double sided tape to the inside of the outer flaps.

Remove the backing from the tape, adhere the 1″ tabs to the adjacent side and fold in the outer flaps.

Burnish well with a bone folder.

Take the fourth white panel you had set aside and glue it down on the inside right of the cover.

This just adds extra weight to the cover and makes it sturdier.

Apply wet glue to the bottom of the box and stick it down on top of the white panel, positioning it so that the inside edge is right up to the scoreline and is centred vertically.

Close over the top cover.

Stamp Uptown Girl Lucille sends her Love onto some white card and colour using your desired medium.

Using a scoring board and embossing tool, emboss a frame around the image and then mat onto some white card that is 1/8″ bigger than the image.

Stamp the sentiment and cut out using a fishtail pennant or similar.

Roll the sentiment over your fingers to curve it, then bend the ends, approx 0.5″ from each side.

Glue Uptown Girl Lucille sends her Love to the front cover and then glue the sentiment across the width of the image.
