Card Samples, SUNDAY with TAMIBELLA

Sunday with Tamibella: Mini Oddballs on a Tricycle

Hi!

Tamara here with you. Since Spring is finally coming, it’s time to take out our bikes and hit the road. For today’s post I used one of the Mini Oddballs rubber stamps called Mini Oddballs on a Tricycle. I stamped my image with Archival Ink – Jet black and then coloured it up using Distress ink pads.

Distress ink colours used:
skin: vintage photo
eyes: tumbled glass
hair: antique linen, walnut stain, spiced marmalade
shorts, shoes: peeled paint
dress, shoes: seedles preserves
seat, horn: lucky clower
bike: fired brick

When I started putting my card together I first cut out scalloped slimline rectangle. Then I used broken china distress oxide ink and coloured up the background. I added some drops of water to react with oxide. Grass part was cut from design paper; first I cut out scalloped rectangle and then grass border, so it fits perfectly. Road was cut from white and grey cardstock and then layered together. After it was glued together I cut it with the scalloped rectangle. At the end I added white clouds and sentiment.

Sentiment “Ride or Die, BFFs Forever!” comes with the image.

Image was fussy cut and added to the card.

Hugs, t.

Such a cute card… I love their hair… LOL. The coloring is wonderful, and I like the 3D pieces, especially the road. Thank you for sharing.
