Stamp It Saturday: Out of the Frame Die Cutting with Sandiebella

Time for another Stamp It Saturday! This week Sandiebella has a really useful tutorial for you on how to do “Out of the Frame” die-cutting, where you die cut your image using a circle/square/whatever die with a portion (in this case the balloons) sitting outside the die-cut. Simple, but oh so handy, especially for images like our gorgeous Uptown Girl Bentley.

Copic Markers used:

Skin – E000, E00, E11, R20
Hair – E50, E53
Dress – BG11, BG13, BG15, BG18. R81, R83, R85, R39
Balloons – BG13, BG15, BG18. R81, R83, R85. V12, V15, V17Stamping Bella Stamp It Saturday Outside the Frame Die Cutting with Sandiebella

Position the die over the image and mentally note where you want to cut.

Trim around the balloons leaving a white border

Keep trimming each side of the balloons until you are happy with the positioning. Run the image through the cuttlebug, or similar die cutting machine, ensuring the balloons are over the die.Stamping Bella Stamp It Saturday Outside the Frame Die Cutting with Sandiebella

At this point, if you want to sponge the background, leave the die in place. Otherwise remove the die and the image is ready to use on a card.

I do only have a few Spectrum Noir pens/markers’. I know the colors are not the same and when I do color it looks nothing like the way all the artist colors theirs?????
