Card Samples

Some MO’ eye canDEEEEE

Nickabella has been BiZzy.. check out these gorgeous cards! This one is using our brand new Tiddly DAISY HIGHTOPS.  isn’t it ADORABLE?  Colored with copics and the flower on the top left is one of my faves.  They come from PRIMA in either a TUBE or a BAG in white.. SO versatile! Nicky used her copics to dye these flowers to match the paper.  We will show you another tip with these flowers tomorrow.  You get a KAJILLION of them.. the one in the TUBE are larger than the ones in the bag.  Isn’t it great?  This is so great for a little girl, a teen, an exerciser (what is THAT? LOL).. an EXTREMELY versatile stamp!

Nicky used PEACE HIGHTOPS in the following card.  Also colored with her COPICS and she used our new American Craft ZING embossing powders for the sentiment.  In my humble weight watchered opinion (lol) the TRUE test of using an embossing powder and making sure the quality is top notch is to try it on an itty bitty image or a sentiment to see how detailed it is and make sure the words are legible.  WELL GUESS WHAT?  These powders are absolutely fantabulous.  First, the pallette is gorgeous (45 colors).. 2nd, the fine-ness of them and quality is not to be beat.  Why do you think I brought in EVERY SINGLE COLOR? LOL.. (go big or GO HOME.. my philosophy).. I will show you another tip tomorrow on making embossing and glittering easier..

I love reviewing products.. I am a PRODUCT QUEEN.. I will try my bestest to feature some of my favorite things and see what you thinky

Mwah to da sistahs who LOOOOVEY da cards and who need a little….. ZINNNNGGGG!

Love the cards Nicky! I’m so happy you got the white prima flowers in because I wanted them for exactly that reason. More versatility in the copics. I’d love to hear some embossing tips on how to get rid of the excess powder from your paper before you apply the heat to set the image.

Very cute and clever. 🙂 I love the Happy Everything sentiment…LOL

  3. Wow, I knew you guys would do it to me when I saw a card done with this stamp. Emily, you need to force me to buy them, LOL. I know you get the rights to say, “Told ya so sistah!!” . What beautiful cards Nicky. You outdid yourself as usual.

  4. Oh my goodness..can it get any better! Nicky your cards are so beautiful!
I absolutely love them. I love the flowers how they match the card perfectly! You have inspired me AGAIN>>>>>>

Wow Nicky…you’re so inspiring. I just love seeing what you come up with. I love the way you did the flowers too. Great tip! Both those stamps are just adorable!

Emily, I totally agree with you on the embossing powder. There is nothing worse then getting your card done, then you go to emboss your sentiment and it just doesn’t work and it’s illegible. That’s enough to drive one crazy! I love that Nicky’s is so easy to read! Another item on my wishlist!!

Looking fwd to more tips, idea’s and your favourite things!

Hi Em: I love Nicky’s card, especially where she coloured the tips of the flower. Now I know what to do with my pkg. of off-white flowers I bought last yr. Since you brought the Zing E.P. into the store, I have been down several times to buy – some for me & some for a friend. So far I have clear faves – Metallic Green, Powder (blue), Gold & Pink Glitters.

Rebecca: Before you put your powder down, try rubbing your paper with a dryer sheet to eliminate some of the static & then use an old paint brush or cosmetic brush to get rid of any “stragglers”.

    Thanks Barb! Great tip.
