Continuing the Christmas in July theme…
Hi!
Tamara here with you today. Summer is in full swing here and I finally have my holidays but my mind is already in December. I have another kitty for you today, this awesome rubber stamp is called TANGLED KITTY drawn by KRISTIN FARNSWORTH. This is a fun (fat) kitty to colour in and it reminds me of one of my cats. LOL
Image was stamped with Archival Ink – Jet Black on 300 g HP Fabriano Artistico watercolouring paper and then coloured up using ZIG black marker and Distress ink pads. I only used Distresses for light bulbs. Colours used are: fired brick, fossilized amber and peeled paint. I added some glitter glue to green light bulbs just to make them sparkle a bit.
For card design I used one of my dies and made a shaker out of it. I added some cute candy, diamonds and sequins in the shaker part. Papers used are some new Christmas papers that I got in the mail and I think they go perfectly with this image.
Sentiment “Don’t get your tinsel in a tangle!” comes from Holiday fun sentiment set.
Kitty was fussy cut and glued to the acetate and then covered up with another layer of card base.
I hope you like my Christmas in July card. Have a great Sunday.
Hugs, t.
