WELCOME TO BLOGABELLA

I have now started a corkboard of inspiration (sounds romantic no?  something about the word CORKBOARD that does it everytime..LOL)… I have been approached many times with questions as to what inspires me.. colors, doohickies (sp?), embellishments, ribbon.. and here is the answer.. Nicky and I decided to put together a bag of inspiration.. and we decided to coordinate it to the Basic Grey 2 scoops collection as we LOOOOVED the colours sooo much.  It was so much fun shopping and matching and playing and putting them all together…and you KNOW when you go shopping for goodies like this that THEY WILL ALL FIT!!! These colours go so nicely together that you really don’t need the patterned paper but it just goes together so wellllll…..!  In this bag o’ you will receive 8 die cut cards (either scalloped or gatefold), a bag of exclusively mixed baubles (75-100 per each colour valued alone at $4.99), 6 white envelopes, a bag of pretty pretty flowers (paper with metallic paper ones as well- baubles are SOOO very nice in the middle of them), 6 yards total of ribbon WOUND BY ME.. you should see me with a ribbon spinner in my hand.. a DANGEROUS combo.  Anyway, it is just a trial, fun to put together and just nice to look at.

When sistahs ask me what inspires me, i don’t have one answer.. I am like a walking ‘nerve’.. constantly stimulated, constantly thinking; every colour I see, every pattern I see, upholstery, art, baby clothes.. you name it!!

So one day I was sitting at my desk and I thought  about something… how about an OVEN with the sentiment “BUN IN THE OVEN???”.. OMG and from there sprung a coupla “APPLIANCES” . Check out the sentiments that go with my APPLIANCES.. witty, no? LOL.. I LOVE THEM!! you can even use Billboardabella’s words to put on the fridge! kinda like a magnet!  and to give you a little hinty as to what is coming on monday… look very carefully at the fridge card and the JUST WANTED TO SAY card.. that’s ALL I am leaking out… THAT” ALL.. don’t “tap tap” me cuz I ain’t breathin’ a word.. n’UH UH.. NOPE WON”T DO IT..

 Tomorrow is a BEEEEGGGG DAYYYYYYYY at the bella home (or is it in?  OMG.. losing it sistahs.. L-O-S-I-N-G I-T.. I am SOOOO excited)  I will be releasing 2 bellas.. YUP.. TWO.  uh-huh  TWO.  PLUS.. some bonus images that I AM IN LOVE WITH (does it sound obnoxious that I love my own goodies??!?!?!?    but really I doooo!  I swear I doooooo !!! HONESTLY I DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO)  So with that said, let me tell you about this card.. I worked on it last night and was a little “iffy”.. called Nicky immediately and said “I JUST MADE THEEEE MOST DISGUSSSSTING CARDDD EVAH.. so she immediately says, just cover it up and start again..LOL instead of saying, I AM SURE IT IS NOT THAT BAD.. but ANYWAY, I woke up this morning and looked at it again and I really liked it!  It made me HAPPY!!  I love layering borders.. LOVE that Idea so I am starting to mix and match my current borders and see what I come up with !  So I mixed the small fancy swirl with my sticky swirl border, put them both on a block and off I went with my lettuce Adirondack ink (LOOOOVE ADIRONDACK).. I then was in a giggly kinda mood so I  stamped my upside down giggle and colored them with my spica markers (twinkly!).  The ribbonnnnn OHHH THE RIBBONNN… will be for sale 🙂 but you will have to wait til Monday to see the SURPRISE that will go with that ribbon…. I CANNT WAITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.. I am SOOOOO EXCITEDDDD I can’t BREATHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

So i have been ASKED AND ASKED AND ASKED “When the heck (never use that word) are ya gonna have a “sistah’s gallery”?  So sistahs.. WE GOTS ONE… it will be a  bit of a work in progress but in order to be PUBLISHED, I need to get some.. I LOVE getting cards 🙂  So if you want to send me a card, email me for my addy and if you can give your info (whatever you would like published on the blog) and I will update!  SOOO EXCITED!!  There are a couple up already!

I also put up some new goodies in the what’s new section.. some prismacolour cool grey 10% markers.. THEY ARE THE BEST COLOUR for adding a “line” or shading around your image.. gives that little ZING! and 3D’ishness (LOL-don’t laugh at my words, n’k?).  I also added Pallette NOIR (great with Copics) and Pallette watermark pad…

Sistahs have been asking me about the splender blender.. it is used once you colour with coloured pencils, and want to “blend” them more, you just colour over top with the splender blender to smmmmooooooooooooth things out.. s’aright? you capichie now?  I will try to do a tutorial on it to show…

Lots more on the way… maybe an image or two?  PERHAPS a BELLA?
