Am I the worst “bloggiste” (sounds more romantic) evah?  I am so sorry I have been MIA but I have been quite ill.. my diverticulitis has flared up and I think it is the first time in 2 years, that I had to stay in bed for 3 years.. well at least a little bit in between work and all.. I am on double antibiotics and pain killers.. it ain’t pretty being around DA BELLA and I apologize 🙁

For that I will introduce yet another one of my favorite goodies that we just received.  The “shtuff” is called “Flower Soft”.. and I just love it.  It feels like flock but has a little bit more texture.. and comes in FABO colours.. I met these wonderful British ladies at CHA and just fell in love with the products.. oh and the accents of  course!!  This is the description from their website:

“Flower Soft is an amazing pot of coloured sprinkles, that allows you to create text, designs and miniature floral embellishments. Flower Soft is acid free and is loved by card makers and scrap-bookers alike. Of course Flower Soft also makes fabulous, realistic plants for dolls houses”

Their business started with dolls and the dollhouse industry and has “exploded” from there. Here are some samples nicky “whipped up” to show you.. a tutorial will follow 🙂

Ok, so we discovered this tool at CHA.. I have seen it hanging around but never really paid attention to it.. LOL.  Until I passed it by at CHA and it SCRRRRRReamed out my name… come try meeee come try meeeee.. so I did.  And I loved it.  Let me start by saying that there IS a learning curve with this little treasure and it can be a little frustrating (LOL) but the results are soooo worth it!!

I have tried hangtaggers in the past and the one great thing that differentiates the KA-JINKER from the others is that the tags are short.. so when you “shoot” the tag into the paper or fabric, it doesn’t dangle.. it fits securely!  This machine is PHENOM to attach my teeny daisies and my other daisies and they have their own CUUUUUUTE embellishments too!!!  Read the captions for my teeny tutorial.  More info is available on their website too!

   Once you thread your embellishment through the needle, you carefully press the trigger half way to “release” the tag and you follow up or continue with the same pressure for the second half of the click until the tag has gone through the other side of the paper and secured embellishment in place (this can be the tricky part and may waste a few tags til you get it right )

Hiya sistahs!  Sorry I have been MIA… it has been crazy with our travels to Novi Michigan (remind me to tell you about our makeup adventure).. we met some sistahs which was AMAZING, saw some goodies and did a lot of shopping 🙂 (shhhhh don’t tell Ryan).

First of all I am in the midst of updating my calendar here  .  Since we have opened our new scramping room (scrapbook/stamping) we have decided that we have to change things on the retail side.  You will be HAPPY to know that as of Sept 1st, we will be OPEN every saturday!!  Can you believe it?  Just check the calendar.. everything should be there.  I am also PROUD to announce Dianne Glass joining our team of instructors.  Dianne has been published many times, has produced a DVD with our very own Nicky and has a unique and beautiful style… anyone who knows Dianne will be thrilled to know she has joined our team 🙂 

Please check the calendar and call us ASAP to book your spot!  Nicky has introduced 2 new classes in September.. All that Sparkles and Washed in Color.. book your spot (I am really not trying to be bossy)

Nicky, Tema, Irene, Hanna, Michelle and I are going on a ROADTRIP.. Yup, uh-huh..  we are leaving on Friday morning and coming back on sunday and will enjoy the Heirloom’s rubber stamp and paper arts festival!. Just what I need.. another 5 hour drive.. hmph.. LOL but we will have a blast!  Any other sistahs going?? 

OK back to bidniss…. I have been a posting MANIAC today.. of course there are more embellishments coming but that’s it for the stamps for now.. more to come (of course)

I think I have now launched one of my favorite bellas.. hippiechickabella.  She goes amazingly with the new sentiment “PEACE” And with the already existing “FEELING GROOVY”.. ucchhhh I looovey her.  I also love trickortreatabella.. i love her ‘hat’ .. LOL!

ohboyohboyohboyohboy she says rubbing her hands together feverishly….. I am getting these wild calls from Dena and Nicky at DA BOOOOOTIQUE.. and I am being tortured 🙁

CHA goodies are coming in by the truckload … ok, not a huge truck but a UPS van counts, no?  Apparently, we received a TON of brand spanking new cuttlebug folders.. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?  the borders, and flowers OMG.. I am so depressed I am not there but I ensured that  Dena put it all out for you!  We also received brand new BOSSKUT fonts and dies.. the fonts are to die for and the little dies are adorable too!!  We also received brand new American Crafts coordinating paper and ribbon (ask Dena about the button one.. that’s my FAVE), the scorpal new mat that makes your scorpal a cutting and stamping surface!  How amazing is that?  We have also received paper from Luxe Designs and PHENOM new stretchy ribbon (have been dreaming about that) Other goodies have come in too! I will put stuff online on Monday when I get back.. but if you wanna see the new goodies you should get to da BOOOOTIQUE as soon as possible 🙂 and don’t worry, made Dena put one of everything aside for me! (LOL)…  Rockin Blocks have also come back into stock and and and….!  so excited but shhhh I am still on vacation 🙂
