It’s Thursday, and that means another amazing step by step tutorial from our Sandiebella! I LOVE Thursdays.
Hey all! I’m a bit snowed under with life stuff (adolescent puppy) and also working on a new release for you all (more on that coming in a few weeks). So no videos from me yet this week – I’m holding out hope for a Friday one! In the meantime, I wanted to share some more Christmas in July fun in the form of this wonderful card from our Gingerbella!
Ginger used our ODDBALL GIRL ELF and the LONG DISTANCE CHRISTMAS SENTIMENT SET for this beautiful festive card. Love those traditional colours and the vintage feel.
Have a great rest of the week!

It’s that time of the week again. I’ve got my spotlight out and I’m shining it on an amazing stamp set – this month’s “Stamp of the Month” offer. Each month a stamp set is offered with a fantastic discount. You will have to be QUICK though – you’ve got until the end of 31st July 2023 to grab this month’s offer, and I’m here to show you why you need it. If you already have it, I’m here to remind you why you needed it, and inspire you to get it inky!
The stamp set includes 3 great sentiments, but make sure you also check out our fantastic SENTIMENT SETS for more options to finish off your cards!
Hi!
Tamara here with you today. Since it’s still July I’m continuing with my Christmas in July cards. This is my third Christmas card in a row, lol. For this post I coloured Santa from Oddball Santa and the missus rubber stamp set. When I started colouring with Distress inks red was the one colour that I always stayed away from because I had a feelinhg that I can never get that true red like the one coloured with copics but after years of trying I think I really like it now. I use barn door distress ink pads for base, very little water and then I do all the shading with fired brick distress ink.
Other distress inks used on this card are:
skin: vintage photo
beard, shoes: black soot
eyes: salty ocean
Santa’s list: tea dye
outfit: fired brick, barn door
To pop up the eyes more I add a little bit of glossy glue. It makes the images look alive. Not sure if that’s good or creepy. lol
For the card I used some of the newer Doodlebug Christmas papers and added some gingam ribbon in the back. Sentiment “happy Holidays” is from Curvy Girl with holiday gifts rubber stamp set. To finish off the card I added some highlights with white gel pen and some enamel dots.
That’s all from me today.
Hugs, t.
