Ok, this one is gonna discuss some new goodies… I have A DOOZY of another funny post on Monday

LOL.. I am already starting this post off giggling.. LOL.. unfortunately it is at the expense of someone very special to me… My mentor, My friend, My confidante… yep, our very own NICKABELLA. (LOL).. how annoying is it when someone is telling you a story and you have to stop and laugh.. well that’s what I am doing now and the sad thing is.. you probably won’t even find it funny. hmph.  Just wanted to let you all know that i DID get the ‘ok’ from Nicky to recount this tale.

So everyone has a forte, right?  not sure what mine is but NIcky is a great friend, a wonderful cardmaker, friend etc.. but a memory for people’s names?? not-so-much! LOL

So it may have been last year some time, I waltzed into work late and Nicky was dealing with a customer… so I breeze by and nicky says “Emily.. have you met AILEEEEEN?” I am always pleased to see a new customer in the store so I drop my jacket and say “Hi AILEEEEN,welcome to Bellaland”! She graciously says thank you.   So Nicky continues to serve her, showing all of our goodies and continues saying “AILEEN have you seen this? Aileen have you seen that? and I pipe in “OMG AILEEN you NEED to have this!!”.. “Aileen proceeds”  to the cash, thanks all of us profusely and is on her way.

Later that evening I receive a blog comment from a lady stating that she was in our store and was SOO excited to meet all of us and had great customer service etc. SIGNED?  ELAINE.

I call nicky up and I say to her “Nick, are you sure the new lady who came to our store was AILEEEEN (which I think we said about 8976 times when she was there..LOL).. Nicky says ABSOLUTELY.. I asked her name and she said AILEEN. I said ok. maybe the OTHER lady in the store was Elaine. Hmph.

About a week later, “Aileen” comes back into the store. and nicky greets her “AILLLLEEEEENN”! (OMG i am cracking up right now).. And “Aileen says HI!”.. i then mosey on over to her and ask her.. could your name POSSIBLY be “Elaine?” cuz I got a comment on my blog blablabla.. she says Yes, my name is ELAINE.  LOL.. So I say to her WHY DID YOU NOT CORRECT US after the first KAJILLION times we called you AILEEN?  She just says, I couldn’t do it.. I knew you would figure it out at some point 🙂 LOL.  Elaine/Aileen has become a very important part of Stamping Bella.. We LOVE her to pieces and has become a wonderful friend!  We hope you  are enjoying your cruise Elaine/Aileen! (I still call her that).

Second story again was with another new customer who came from out of town to visit and shop.. Nicky greeted her and started speaking to her and called her “GAYLE”… so after a long conversation, Nicky introduces me to her.. “Emily meet Gayle”… “Gayle” looks at nicky and says her name is “Maria”.. LOL.. ( I am LMAO right now).. I look at Nicky and say.. HOW the HECK did you get GAYLE from MARIA? LOLOL.. she looks at me and says, I DUNNO.. so Maria looks at us and says that her sisters’ name is gail if that helps? LOL..

That Nickmeister.. she CRACKS me UP.

Last story happened yesterday.. which triggers this post.

These 2 lovely women walk into the store.. Nicky gets up and recognizes them and loudly says “DOOOORRRISSSSSS” how are you? where have you been? blablablabla.. They continued talking (LOL) and “doris'” sister in law whispers to Nicky.. “HER NAME IS DARLENE”… LOL

Did you find this funny? I hope so cuz I am Laughing.. if you don’t find it funny, please don’t tell me.. LOL

Just posted my FAVORITE paper company that I am selling.. I just find it a remarkable array of papers, the quality of the paper is exquisite.. Needless to say.. I am MAJORLY in love… with a sheet of paper.. or 2 🙂

How hilarious was the last contest? OMG.. I PEED in my pantZ with some of the comments… I loved the “Emily you are so skinny” mantra.. as it is SO FAR FROM THE TRUTH..LOL.. But it was fun to read.  I thank you all so much for participating.. it means the world to me that people care enough to take time out and actually post something.  I wish it was more consistent!

Lots of stuff going on  in our Splitcoast Forum (If you are not a part of that group yet, you TOTALLy should be.. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? K are you a member yet? lol)  there are some PHENOM sistahs over there.  There are contests, and prizes and challenges.. it is really a fun place to be!

We are even starting a book club there (the last book I read was the Friday night knitting club by Kate Jacobs.. LOOOVED it.. and will soon be reading her second book called Knit Two.. I am now reading the book Q&A.. the movie Slum Dog Millionaire was made based on this book)..  We even have  a crockpot recipe exchange.  I am SOOOOO in love with my crockpot.. I told Ryan that if I wasn’t married to him…. LOL..Since I have started a low carb way of life (AGAIN).. it is really a handy tool and the food is YUMMALICIOUS!!

Today has been a VE-HERRRRY biZzy day at da Bella’s!  We have created more embellishments for your enjoyment 😉

Introducing Daisybella and Owlies embellishments (available in pinbacks, zipperpulls, magnets and flatbacked embellishments).. We are IN LOVE with them and the goal is to introduce a new set every week! ok, maybe every 2 weeks 🙂

Our lovely and talented Nickabella has created these masterpieces with them.. Oh, ahem, and a little tutorial will be included in this entry

we chose our branch with birdie stamp and Memento markers included in arizona canyons and greenhouse sets We just LOVE these markers as they are waterbased, fade resistant ,sheer yet pronounced (if that makes sense).. you can colour right on the rubbah AND they match all the inkpads!!!! (all the colors of the inkpads should be up tomorrow) There are 4 other sets available that you can find in our what’s new section

Happy new year to you all!  We had a great new years eve.. wanna know what we did?  K, I’ll tell you.  My girlfriends Caryn and Melissa and I ordered dinner and went to Mel’s house ( Oh ya, the kidlets and the hubs’ were there too 🙂

We each had our laptops and our toys (IPOD ITOUCH’s) and were downloading applications (including the price is right and deal or no deal) and then we tried to figure out how to download movies.. this was not an easy feat sistahs.  We all didnt know how to do it.. we were figuring out brakelite, squidoo (??) and other websites to facilitate these downloads to no avail.. Melissa is stil downloading her first movie..lol and it is 3 days later.  Needless to say, I MISS that dining room table where lots of laughter, drinks and cake was shared by all!  We had an absolutely FAB-O time.. New Years day, a group of our friends went to see the tales of DESPEREAUX.. a new movie out for the kidlets

I am in LOVE with this little gentleman.. and that is WHO he is.. a little gentleman full of bravery and fearlessness.  Not your “typical” mouse i tell ya. The movie itself is a  little long but just looking at that mousie’s face makes it well worth it.  So if you have little ones that would enjoy this movie, please take them and give a SMOOCHIE to despereaux from DA BELLA will ya?

Guess what we did after DA MOVIE?  We returned with our laptops to Mel’s house and resumed positions at that fateful dining room table and ate leftovers.  We still tried to figure out HOW TO DOWNLOAD da movies and laughed throughout cuz it didn’t work.  hmph.  double hmph.

create BEEYOOOTIFUL things (and diet whilst (lol on the whilst) doing so)

Take more photos (and then look at them to make sure I diet…LOL)

Give charity (food so i can diet)
