Hiya sistahs

I am sitting here in my family room.. watching a cartoon cuz I am too lazy to get up and change the channel and my kidlets are in bed.. how pathetic is THAT?

Well, I promised I would share some stories and some pictures so here goes.. it may be a little longwinded (I know, hard to believe)

So first of all, it took us a whole day to get to california.. we took 3 planes.. Toronto to Chicago, Chicago to Denver, and Denver to Santa Ana.. it was a LOOOONG day sistahs but we were so excited to see goodies and people that we haven’t seen in a long time that it was well worth it!

A couple of things we saw along the way the store below was in the Denver airport

Nicky and I travelled first class and let me TELL you that it was a gift… the seats are NICE AND WIDE.. Nicky and I played the WILL THE SEATBELT FIT AROUND US game…LOL.. and they always did! LOL (Phew!).. if you read my CHA post last year, we discussed the red carpet for first class.  It is an amazing thing really.. you feel like ROYALTY.. see below..

We finally arrived at the hotel and were COMPLETELY wiped. It was draining and all we wanted to do was go to sleep so that we can be fresh for the show.   We had a very nice suite with 2 rooms and 2 baFrooms and we were ready to call it a night.  I run to her and ask her if she is able to find her blinds?!  We only had sheer curtains and I was getting increasingly angry that we would have to sleep without a blind and the sun would shine in our eyes in the a.m.  SO I decided to be CRAFTY and attached my curtains with a bella pin ( a bit upside down)

Nicky says that she too can’t find her blinds.. so I am just ready to scream.. I call the main desk, start packing my clothes to move, they send the maintenance man to our room, he walks to the windows and casually pullllls the blinds across the window and make the room nice and dark.. I say.. did you just put those curtains in??? he looked at me like I was some KOOK and said no ma’am.. they were always there.   Well I was sure we would stump him when he got to Nicky’s room but sure enough, he pulls the curtains to reveal a blind.  It was RIGHT IN FRONT OF US!! we were VERY humiliated..LOL

The next day was the show and a great time was had by all.. we bought LOTS of goodies.. you know me.. I won’t reveal until it starts trickling in and once it does… WATCH OUT! we got beautiful papers and other goodies.. so stay tuned and please tell your scrappy friends too that I will have the newest and the BESTEST stuff.

We spent lots of time with Kim from My Favorite Things and Alma from the cat’s Pajamas.. LOVE YOU SISTAHS!

That’s pretty much it in terms of pictures.. on our way back to Toronto, and in the John Wayne airport, I decided that morning to wear EVERYTHING THAT HAD dangles, metal, rhinestones, skulls.. all in one outfit.  Sure enough, the second I went through security, I set off a KAJILLION alarms.  I was thinking to myself.. why didn’t i wear my sweats? of ALL days!!!  So they keep on making me walk in and out and in and out and finally they took me aside to a type of “holding” cell where they had to frisk me.. all of a sudden I am in a compromising position and see ANGELA from unity stamp co.  she says HI EM and i wanna crawl under a rock with hands midair and legs spread apart..LOL

All in all a phenom time was had.. although I must say I am happy to be home and was even happier when I walked into Bellaland yesterday 🙂

So I have been back for 37 seconds and it seems like I was in california forever ago 🙁

I missed my sistahs!! and have lotsa surprises!!

Well,  first of all I forgot my memory card reader at home so I will have to upload pictures tonight or tomorrow 🙁

met soooo many people.. had SUCH a great time sistahs but I wished that each and every one of you were there!  Nicky and I laughed pretty much for 5 days straight.. lots of goofy things happened (of course).. I got sick (of course), met some icons whom I admire (of course) and ate a lot (of course).

I just wanted to let you know that I am home safe and sound and miss you lots and have lots to share..

will write a proper post later tonight 🙂

****unfortunately, later tonight will have to be tomorrow.. have misplaced my cardreader.. GRRRRRR

Yep,  she SHO’ is.  I have spoken about Dianne before.. She is our in-house SCRAPBOOKING director and has been buggin’ me for MUMFS (months said by my little Jayden) to start going heavy into scrapbooking and I HEMMED and I HAWED (LOL) and finally decided.. yeperooni.. thaSS what I’s gonna do!  As I mentioned, we will be opening www.scrappingbella.com but it is still a work in progress so we will try to amalgamate the scrapbooking shtuff into this site for now.  You will notice the “GET SCRAPPIN'” button on the left of the home screen.. this is where all the new goodies.. there and under PAPER.. I am determined to get da BEST and da NEWEST and da MOSTEST uniQUEST stuff.. This will be posted in the WHAT’s NEW section and in the scrappy section.. ARE YA HAPPY NOW DIANNE?? LOL.

Dianne will KILL me for tooting her horn but she honestly is PHENOM.  Her main passion is Shabby Chic.. that is her passion but her ability to change her style is incredible.. she can go GRAPHIC (wait til you see February “INSPIRATION”).. has been published and has been seen on TV.  She has a major following here in Ontario and holds very very unique classes.  I will be posting February classes in a few.

Ok, so we are talking about “INSPIRATION”.. Dianne will be creating  Limited EDITION monthly “INSPIRATIONS” including stamped images, embellishments etc.  I absolutely LOVE this one and all of them that she is working on… we will only be making 10 of each and then BYE BYE inspiration..LOL
