Yes, I know I haven’t been so up to date with it as life got in the way but I am trying to get this going again! LOL… So have I mentioned that I am ADDICTED to inchies???? I mean TOTALLY TERRIFICALLY addicted.. COMPLETELY and UTTERLY addicted.. HOPELESSLY.. well you get da PICTURE.
Here are our inchies and I think I am gonna start INCHIE toosdays..LOL (cuz I am addicted.. remembah?).. Inchies are little teeny tiny weeny winy 1″ squares of the most wonderful quality museum matboard.. it welcomes any medium.. copic, mineral spirits, watercolor.. just OUTSTANDING… I have also purchased some binders to go with these, magnet backs,, etc.. you can trade them!!
Here is my card using 9 inchies on a 5″*5″ card. On some of them I used the new COSMO CRICKET BOYFRIEND collection papers (LOVE THEM). I used my 1″ square punch (so handy to cover the inchies) and if you would like to layer them.. you can use the 1.25″ square punch.. PHENOM!!! I also used my new favorite tool (not such a new tool tho).. the colorbox stylus handles and oval tip foam pads.. and gently patted it into the COLORBOX Q chalk inkpads. They are sooo gorgeous and graduated colors to boot!.. Basically I own many of the stylus’.. each one is double sided so I use a tip on each side and use it for each color (or color family) and it’s so easy! So I dip my foam into the ink.. I tap some off on a scrap sheet of paper.. and then I start rubbing it on the corners of the inchies in a smooth circular LIGHTHANDED motion.. I didn’t feel like coloring.. and LOOK! I didn’t have to! You still get a wonderful effect and it’s sooo verrrry easy! but most importantly.. which stamps did I use! LOL.. I used the KETTO MANLY SET (for ketto’s clothesline).. I just love THAT WHOLE COLLECTION! and they are perfect for the inchies and of course my metallic red nailheads in the upper corner! and VOILA!

Good morning sistahs! It was a really blechhy weekend in Toronto.. STORMS RAIN STORMS and more rain.. hoping today is a bettah day! We had a great weekend in Bellaland.. groups of people booked the studio and so much fun was had by all! I love it when there are lots of people 🙂

I made a couple of cards this week as well.. in the Christmas theme.. yes I know it’s early but da PEEPS want DA CHRISTMAS!
In this card I used COSMO CRICKET PLAYDAY (Jolly by Golly collection), and the cutest SNOWMAN WITH A BIRDIE ON TOP stamp. Sometimes you don’t know how or don’t feel like coloring a whole image.. so my philosophy is , why color the whole thing? Using glittah and coloring certain elements of the stamp is ADORABLE and QUICK AND EASY!. I used our variegated ribbon in MOSS. I just love our variegated ribbon because it will pick up any shade that you are using! Extremely versatile, silky and luxurious! I also used our new MAYA ROAD PEARL TRINKET PINS.. I just love them too.. and I find that they look like little snowmen..LOL. I also used our BAZZILL POMPOM RIBBON in MARASCHINO (I cut up the pompoms and applied it to the end of his lonnnnng hat 🙂 ) I also used one of our newer embellishments called NAILHEADS they are teeny (3mm) and flat but raised JUST enough to give a little dimension.. LOVE THEM!!! and of course they come in several finishes *winks*
now for my SECOND card.. it was QUICK and EASY PEASY and I just love the crispness and elegance of it! first I CUTTLEBUGGED the front of the card in cuttlebug SNOWDOTS using my BIG SHOT machine. I then tied a knot around the top using our JUICY CHERRY polkadotted ribbon and our new MARTHA STEWART GLACIAL SNOWFLAKE punch. The amazing thing about this punch is that they punch out already “curled” and add such a dynamic touch to any card! I adhered 3mm pearls to the center of each of these gorgeous snowflakes too.. LOVE IT!

morning sistahs! Hope you had a wonderful week! I have been verrry quiet as we have been sooo busy in Bellaland.. and also our move. It is safe to say that we are in our new house and absolutely THRILLED with it.. it’s everything we hoped for and more. How for the UNPACKING (harumph=quadruple hmph)
We have some FABO news today! We have new BELLARIFIC BABES joining our team! We have Carole Burrage and for a little bit of a REAL international twist, we have Meahni Pieterse all the way from South Africa! I have known Carole for a very long time and she has been a true friend and Bella fan for years and years and it is with great excitement that we welcome her to our team! Meahni I have recently “met” and she has been a faithful “cyber student” to Paulabella.
Here’s a little bit about CAROLE: (picture on her BLOG)
” I can remember the instant I saw my first Stamping Bella image- Julie Ebersole used Cosmobella in a card in the Dirty Dozen gallery of December 2006. That was right about the time my flirtation with stamping turned into a full-blown obsession. I don’t think that’s a coincidence– I feel Emily is largely responsible for my stamping addiction. Because Cosmobella- c’est moi (it’s me). Immediately after that sighting, I placed my first Stamping Bella order and joined in the first Bella Swap ever. The rest, as they say, is history! I’ve been fortunate enough to have had a few opportunities in ‘real life’ to hang out with Em, and I love her every bit as much as her stamps. Thus, becoming a Bellarific Babe is a dream design gig for me, a perfect blend of fabulous images and friendship. I am so excited to join this fun and talented team. As Cosmobella would say, “CHEERS”!
And here is a little bit about our Meahni:
“I’m South African, and I live in Johannesburg. I’ve been stamping (or card making) on and off for about 4 years now, but have really gotten into it the last year. I also do beading, decoupage, and the odd occasion a little mosaic work. I work full time, which means I get very little time for all these hobbies. Card making is my favorite, so any spare time I have is dedicated to that. I have 2 dogs and 2 parrots and I LOVE animals and would have lots more if I could. My dream is to have a farm one day.. just me and all the animals, but no swinging from the trees– LOL! I have to add, just so everyone is clear on this one.. I HATE WINTER! While you guys in the northern hemisphere are enjoying your summer, I will be wishing it away, so my winter can end. I will mention it on my blog once in a while just so no one forgets how much I dislike it..hehehehe..
It is also with great regret that we will be saying goodbye to JENABELLA as a bellarific babe. She has been a PHENOM addition to the team but with a new baby coming and other commitments to fulfill, she will be leaving her post. Thank you JEN for such WONDERFUL cards, inspiration and friendship! (not that the friendship will ever cease.. you will always be a babe!)
