Here’s a little bio about Melanie

“Hello, my name is Melanie Blackburn and I live in beautiful Ottawa, Canada with my husband, Daniel, and our beautiful daughters Danika and Brianna.  I’ve been scrapbooking since April 2005 and my main source of inspiration is my family.  I love everything about this hobby, from taking the perfect picture, to finding the perfect paper and preserving memories for the generations to come.  Scrapbooking is a method of relaxation for me, after a hectic day; I look forward to having some time to myself to create.  I am more of a “moment” scrapper as opposed to an “event” scrapper.  O wpi;d describe my style as eclectic with an accent on details.  I am very passionate about this hobby and I am thrilled to be desigining for Emily and to be a Bellarific Scrapping Babe!”

Hiya sistahs

hope you had a PHENOM weekend!  We had a great time.  We went to a very elegant part of town for a walk yesterday with the kidlets, window shopping.. it was so much fun!  I still don’t feel the “Christmas AIRE” though.. perhaps I should go to a mall if I really want to experience it? LOL.. not so much!

I FINALLY found an all CHRISTMAS MUSIC channel!  Can I tell you that it is my FAVORITE ever! I am just upset that I just found it now.. hmph.  So I will be listening to it for the next 678 hours to get my fill.

Just take one look at her, as a fellow curly haired sistah and you just can’t help falling in love 🙂

Here’s a little bio and then I will follow with amazing blog candy!

Kristin lives in Pennsylvania with her husband and four year old son.  When she is not scrapbooking, she works full time helping children and families at a community health center.  “I wear many hats in my current position and my scrapbooking skills often come in handy when preparing presentations or teaching” Kristin says.

She has been scrapbooking since 2007.  “I started getting involved in scrapbooking because it was the only neutral topic that I could discuss with my boss”.  Since that time, and that job, she has embraced every aspect of this hobby and continues to learn more each day.

Kristin says “I think that I fell hard for scrapbooking because I feel so strongly about documenting all of the little things that I don’t want my heart to forget.  I always try to think about what I would want my family to know if I’m not here tomorrow.  My family won’t care if my page was published but will care if journalins is meaningful and heartfelt.”

Kristin currently designs for Collage Press and her work has been published in Creating Keepsakes and Scrapbook Trends magazine”

Hiya Sistahs!

Like I mentioned, I will be sharing this blog with Scrapping Bella.. what I love about showing layouts is that you will see techniques, layouts, embellishments that you will use on your cardmaking as well!  I always look at layouts, atc’s, canvases etc and see how I can apply it on other mediums.  It’s so much fun!

I am developing a new AMAZING Scrapping Bella design team as we speak!  I am so excited to introduce them to you… !!

I would like to introduce you to one amazing BELLARIFIC SCRAPPING  BELLA member.. and you may already know her!  Her name is Dena and she works right by my side.  She has absolutely AMAZING TALENT and has been with me since the BEGINNING of Stamping Bella!  Please give 3 cheers to DENABELLA. She will be hopefully setting up a blog shortly so you can visit her.. RIGHT DENABELLA? LOL. (I think she heard me.. she’s in the other room)

Hiya sistahs!

I hope you had a great weekend!  We did.. we celebrated Chanukah with the kidlets.. they got great gifts, lit candles, ate ate ate and spent time with the family (mom came in from Montreal).. was so much fun.  Got to spend time with my cousin’s six week old twins (almost SWALLOWED them cuz they were so cute.. shhhhh).. it was just nice.

We are launching www.scrappingbella.com today!  It won’t be much different from Stamping Bella but hopefully will attract the SCRAPPERS!  So tell all your friends will ya?  Scrapping and Stamping Bella will be sharing a blog so I will be wearing two hats but you all will enjoy them (I hope.. same goofy stories, some different samples).. things will not change but will be MORE FUN! (me hopes).. so Enjoy!.
