Home office.  Lights off.  Corner light on again.  MUSE running through my veins.

I just watched the Michael Jackson movie THIS IS IT, and I have to say, I could not believe how quickly I reverted to an innocent, chubby, glasses wearing (still am), braces needing (need them AGAIN), 10 year old blubbering yoyo brain! LOL.  That movie really hit a spot… I can’t explain.  My little ones were watching their mama spin, dance, grab her crotch (LOL.. NOT), moonwalk (I wish) across the family room.  They looked at me in bewilderment.  They asked me.. MOM, WHO WAS Michael Jackson?  While, they knew some of his songs (from their bellowing mother and father), they didn’t know “WHO” Michael Jackson was.  While i did not want to go into detail about some of his “idiosyncracies”.. or some of his “decisions”, or some of his “misfortunes” growing up..I wanted them to know how Michael Jackson was an ICON.  How talented he was, how he really represented most of my childhood through song.

I think they “got it”.. by watching me smile.. by watching me dance.. by watching me know almost EVERY SINGLE WORD TO EVERY SONG, while I forget what I did yesterday (lol)…

What a sad day it was (actually my birthday) to lose such an important and talented artist who made history.

Wow.. to think that this movie really affected me is crazy! but it did.

Cheers to Michael Jackson, and the odes he left to us to sing to, to dance to, to enjoy.

Well I am a little late.. been so busy shipping ordahs and trying to keep my head afloat.. it’s been CRAZY around bella land for the past little while..!

let’s start by discussing our topic for BELLARIFIC FRIDAY this week!  The theme was BACK TO SCHOOL.. omg.. note to self.. make more BACK TO SCHOOL THEMED stamps! LOL.  you will see what I mean in a minute.  I just love bellarific fridays, seeing people’s entries, enjoying each and every one of them.. it’s magical!

I would ask the same thing to Jodibella but I still wanna impress her so I will be quiet.. shhhhh

So do you think I should rename this challenge to be DIFFERENT LAYOUTS WITH ONE STAMP? LOL

my mojo.. my muse.. my writing skills!! where has it all gone? LOL

Sistahs.. I don’t know where it’s been but I feel like it is coming back!  I do know that my older posts have been quite amusing and self deprecating..LOL to say the least and I feel it coming back.. so bear with me (or is it BARE with me.. that would mean getting naked, no?) . So this is it… aside from my other KAJILLIONS of new years resolutions which will be discussed next week.  I, SISTAH EMMY, PROMISE TO FEED YOU FUNNY STORIES, SHARE LOTS OF PRODUCTS (not only stamping related cuz i really LOOOOVE ALL product.. HMPH), discuss every day nonsense.. talk about my children (cuz I KNOW you all wanna hear DAT..LOL).. take funny pictures, have contests.. etc. and do this on a regular basis.

I am sitting in my office at home.. Tyler is watching the hockey game (WHEN DID HE GET SO OLD?), Jayden is in Lalaland (shleeeping)  and I am in the dark and have a cozy little tiffany- esque light on at the corner of my desk.  I am sipping my instant (blech) decaf coffee and I finally feel the groove coming back.  I finally feel like I WANNA write.  hmmmm… this room is REALLY inspiring!! Perhaps I should WEIGH myself in this room since it is making me so happy? (IX-NAY on the EIGH-ING WAY)

So sistahs,  I thank you for bearing with me.. (or is it BARING.. oh ya, that’s the NAKED bare).. you won’t be disappointed.  Of course I still have to discuss BIDNISS..

Here’s a little bit about Jodibella (sounds so good!)

“Hi everyone! My name is Jodi Collins and I live on Long Island, New York with my husband Chris and our 3.5 year old daugter, Meredith”.  I work full time as a paralegal, but once I am home from work and Meredith is in bed for the night, I head down to my “stamp chalet” and spend hours stamping!

Stamping really is therapy for me, and I am a total challenge junkie! I love sketch challenges the most as they really get my mojo flowing!  I love all styles of stamps and papers, but I tend to gravitate more towards cute, sassy images that I can color… cute+sassy+coloring=STAMPING BELLA!

I am super excited to join the Bella Babes and am humbled that Emily finds me BABE-worthy!  I am looking forward to sharing my Stamping Bella creations with all of you and I hope you all find them Babe-worthy too!”

Happy NEW YEAR SISTAHS!

Well another year has passed and I just wanted to wish all of you and yours a very healthy, happy and prosperous new year!  Thank you all for making this year as fun and as remarkable as evah!  I wanted to thank you all for your continued support and loyalty.  These friendships which have developed throughout the years are very meaningful to me and I hope you know that.

Let’s cheer on the new year togethah and make it the best 2010! here here!  We have lots to share through the new year so let’s spend it togethah ok?
